My biggest problem is lighting. It is very somber when the colour would look so much nice brighter. I would have also focused it more on the ripples, because all the reflections and pond grass and different light reflections take away from the picture by drawing the eye all over the picture at once. Focus Point. Have a path for the eye to follow.
That's my two cents for you. I'm in a bit of a hurry. If you want a fuller review PM me.

Hey there! This is my first time reviewing art & photography, so it might not be that good of a review, but I'll try.
First, I'd like to say that I think Kamas has quite a fair point when she says that the lighting is a bit off. It's a bit distracting and doesn't really help the picture.
The focus isn't very good either. It's a bit blurry and that's not good. Maybe just fix the focus a bit, and it'll be fine!
I totally agree with you when you say that it's really cool though. I love pictures of ponds in the rain! There's just something about them that makes them very interesting. Good job! I'll definitely be looking for more photography from you.
I better go though. Again, good job and good luck on your future photography! Bye bye!

The problem with this photo is your composition. It throws the focus off, and I'm going to go right ahead and assume that your focus is the little circles. I'm not sure what shooting modes your camera has, or what type of camera you have, but you need a sharper focus on the water.
If your camera has a diopter dial (a little wheely thing next to the viewfinder) you can use it to adjust your focus. If not, just go through your shooting modes (especially if you have the SCN function) and see what you can do to have a better focus. We don't need to have those leaves in the foreground in focus, dear.
Also, the reflection overwhelms the photo. I think this would look better in black and white with some contrasting done, because the mixture of browns and greens here is blase and the bleached out spots don't help too much. A bit of photo editing (try picknik or photobucket ) could aid this.
Nice work. Keep shootin' and sharin'.
Best regards, June

I was trying to focus on the ripples but waster was dripping everywhere and I didn't know when they would hit, but I tried . As for the camara it was just a digital one i borrowed from my friend. Anyway I will try to get it in better color and such later. Thanks again for the reviews.
My reality comes to a close as I once again realize that you don't love me, and even if I love you with my everything you will never care.
Hello there Flower child, It's Pink, This is a lovely picture. I think the water is a little dull and that takes away from it a little bit. But I love the ripples! I have this thing with ripples... I like the reflection of the tree as well. The only thing I would suggest would be fiddle with the picture in photoshop or another software like it. By the way, I like the natural sense of this too. [I'm sure if that made sense] Anyways, this was a nice shot. Hope to see more!

I think it's a very pretty picture. It may have looked better if you had zoomed in a little more or if it were brighter, but if you have a good photo editing software you might be able to make some ajustments if you want. Over all i think it's a nice picture though ;D
It seems that you have already received quite a few reviews and listened to these reviews and then changed the photo. However I thought I would put my thoughts into the mix.
I think the people before me were right, that you needed to put more focus on the big droplet because the original photo doesn't direct the viewers eye well and it just seems a little messy. So on the edited photo that is better. However I think that it's not just this that needs work in this particular photograph.
It's not just the framing it's the colours, they seem quite washed out and this might have something to do with the weather, as it was raining you won't get very good light. You can fix this on a piece of editing software or next time you go out photographing in the rain you could switch to manual and fiddle with your settings, if your camera has that capability.
Also the photo to me just seems a little out of focus or just not that great a quality. You may be able to fix this with photo editing software but usually you can't.
I think it was a good concept though and I love how you managed to catch that droplet just as it went into the water and splashed back up

howdy, for the first picture there is nothing that i can say that someone else hasnt already. Its very good but I would rather see it in black and white or sepia even.
as for the second one it is somewhat off center in the beginning and if you were in the center of the road when you snapped this one it would have been alot better. Also if you could cut the sides off a little it would help. a 10 for the idea a 7 for the execution.
keep on snappin away!
