Playing God

There are ten immortals on earth, but at one point there were eleven. They have remained relatively hidden throughout the history of human civilaztion, although they are what some civilizations have based their religion on; such as the Greeks, Egyptians, Mayans, ect. For the longest time, they have worked together to keep the world in harmony, but a recent disagreement has split them in two.

There were many children of these gods, and that's how the disagreement began. These children were trying to overthrow these eleven main gods, and one god decided to kill all of them he could find so as to destroy the problem. The children are almost completely gone because of this god. An angry goddes who was the mother of some of these children found the way to kill this other immortal. Now, the gods are split over it.

This is where the story begins:
The five who defend the goddess who killed the rogue god are battling the five who say he should've remained alive.

The ones defending the mother who killed the god are known as the Revenged.
The ones who feel this death of a god is wrong are know as the Mourning.

It's going to be a battle the world will never forget, and most likely, never recover from.

Rules:

1. You can have god characters But you must give them flaws, just look at the Greeks gods. Although they are all powerful, they all have major character issues.

2. There can be as much love as you want, but no sex scenes. Also, try to keep the language PG, even if that means coming up with some creative cuss words.

3. Try to post at least once every three days, or as much as you want, I just want to see how this will go.

Profile for a demi-god: (There are only about four of five spots open for children of the gods, since most of them were killed by the Rogue God.) (And if you want to be a child you'll have to call a spot and then wait to see who all the parents could be, also the children are only half god, so you'd only need one godly parent.)

Children:

Name: Kamira (KAH-meer-ah)

What age they look like: 18- 22

Appearance: Tall with light brown curls that go down to her mid-thigh. She is pale with a little bit of a golden glow and pink cheeks. She has golden colored eyes that turn orange when she's mad. She's very curvacious.

What they control: She controls all love and beauty.

Revenged/ Mourning: Revenged

History: Her sister is the goddess that got her revenge on the other god, so Kamira obviously took her side. Kamira was also really close to her nieces and nephews. She thinks that the god who killed them falsely accused them. If her sister hadn't killed the god, she probably would have herself.

Personality: She's lovely and kind when she's happy, but once she's angry she's scary. Her grudges last for years, and she isn't someone you want to make upset. She's very pleasant and nice when she's happy, and she's so beautiful that any mortal man that lays eyes upon her is spellbound. She's pretty promiscuous, and of course no one has been able to resist her.

Do they have any children?: Yes, she has twenty children, ten boys and ten girls.

Flaws: Her serious anger issue will get her into trouble now and then, and now it seems as if her full temper might come out. She's also very vain, just to warn you;)!

What they control: She controls everything associated with the night, including dreams, shadows, stars, that kind of thing. She's very powerful in her Pantheon.

Revenged/Mourning: Not quite sure, but leaning more toward the mourning side

History: She was formed when Chaos kissed the earth. She sprang from the heart of Chaos, fully formed. She has sparked wars before, but has also kept peace between humans and gods alike. Her brother was killed by the mother, and even though she never liked him, she was sad that it had all come down to this war, that never would've happened had people played their cards right.

Personality: She's reserved, but she isn't afraid to speak her mind. She tries not to get attached to people, especially her siblings. She is usually found in her palace on earth.

Did they have any children?: No

Flaws: She sometimes gets involved where she shouldn't and that can end very badly for most involved.

What age they look like: 17-18

Appearance: She had bright red hair and big green eyes. Her body is nimble and her skin is a beautiful olive, she has cute little freckles running across the bridge of her nose.

What they control: She controls the creativity in a humans mind and loves creating things herself. She is the goddess of invention and thought, the mother of philosphy in some cultures.

Revenged/Mourning: Mourning

History: Adeline is sick of this whole demi god ordeal and takes into account that the children just saw the gods forging into what little society was on earth. She acutally is close to hating it herself. People take advantage of the thought god for thie rown benefit. She has been around for a while

Personality: Since people take advantage of her so often she has trust issues, only bestowing her knowledge of those she deems that need it. She loves giving advice and hearing other's opinions. She smiles and is a friendly type.

Did they have any children?: She believes that producing children is a narcissistic attempt at cloning yourself, but she likes other people's children anyway.

Flaws:

Name: Nirinel

What age they look like: 18 - 20

What they control: Time, and most of what is associated with it. He also acts as a sort of halfway god for the departed, guiding them between the mortal and immortal realms.

Revenged/Mourning: Mourning

History: Nirinel, being as old as he is, is a firm believer in the supremacy of the gods. He saw the demigods as upstarts when they began to talk of overthrowing their parents. while he didn't entirely support the Rogue God's actions, he condemns the Goddess who killed him for picking the demigods over their creators.

Personality: Arrogant and aloof. Nirinel believes gods to be better than demigods, and believes himself to be better than most gods. Since time is connected to everything, he can be a bit of a meddler, involving himself in any affair that piques his interest.

Open for love: Yes

Did they have any children?: Twins, a boy and a girl, though he has not spoken with either in years.

Flaws: He's not the easiest person to get on with, and doesn't like to act without a plan.

Name: Nunau (Prounounced "new-now")

Apparent age:21

Appearence: Very stormy. He has gray hair flying around his head, which lays flat when he has extreme emotions. That happens a lot. His eyes are an amazing green. MOstly muscular, but uses outreagous gestures when he speaks.

What he controls: Emotions. With his changing emotions, he radiates what people most accoiate with that emotion, then they feel that emotion. He also sometimes reflects what people think they themselves are when they feel the way he does.

Revenged/mourning: Revenged.

History: With a so many feelings, if you say the right thing, you can win him over. His wife, a goddess on the Revenged side, spoke to him, she gained him over. BUt once he is set, it is almost impossible for him to turn.

Personality: HE is very unpredictable. So, you have to be careful in dealings with him.

Open for love: Yes, with any of the Revenged Goddess.

Flaws: Not musch strength util he is won over n an issue. Very indecisive.
