Mo -- Mind making the second post? I mean, I know you will probably do an incredible job, but I need to sort things out a bit. Since there has been some confusion going on lately about exactly where we are headed and stuff (according to the apps I have seen so far).
But honestly, I won't be really action-packed, my post. Just kind of basically explaning a few things, so sure. I can let you post second, and explain the crash if you want (:

As for Bond I will PM her, and if she doesn't have her application in by tomorrow or early Friday, we'll just have to start without her.

Hey guys, I just want to say that I may not come on for a day or two because I may be sick with the swine flu, and my mom doesn't want me to germ stuff up;). I'll be fine, I'm just not going to get on too often over today and tomorrow.
I will review for you! PM about it if you need one!

Name:Michal (Mich) Smithson

Age(15-17):16 a week after crash

Interests:Semi-Athletic, he's the captain of his swim team, reading, video games, comic books, technology, and other such nerdy things.

Skills: Strong swimmer, vast intellect

Looks: About 5'11", Dark hair, grey eyes, wears glasses and contacts sometimes, average build.

Family background:Lower middle class, Mother Jan works as a waitress at "Bo's Diner", Father Will works as factory working in a car plant. As an only child he was pushed to be great at whatever he did.

Self background: Mich buses tables at Bo's to save money for collage, something he can't wait to experience. He likes to keep to himself, and his homework, he gets straight A's. He's super shy and hates talking to people he doesn't know. He's never had a girlfriend, as his fear keeps him from talking to girls. He has very few friends, but is really sweet when you get to know him, and can be quite talkative when talking about something he likes. He was unknowingly driving the getaway car, after his cousin, and cousin's friends held up a convenient store.

Up for love?: Possibly.

How the heck did this ever even happen?
That one question zoomed through my mind, as I felt my stomach drop, a horrible gut feeling. This was not good. Someone behind me screamed and I wanted to tell them to be quiet, so that the piolt could be able to hear the radio. Sadly, I couldn’t do much, considering I was already freaking out. I grabbed the two hand resters, on both sides of my body, and held on tight bracing myself for the impact of the falling plane. This was defintley not good.

Two hours eariler –I believe we were somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean, except further on. Not sure. Anyways, I was chatting it up with the person next to me. A girl about my age, who went to my church, she had just joined. You see, the reason I am currently on a plane, exactly 678,000 feet in the air is because we are all flying to Lusaka, Africa on a mission trip. We were planning on reaching there safely, so much for that, and spending exactly fifteen days there helping the less fortunate.
“Hi, I’m Sarah.” I said to the girl next to me. She had blonde hair and a pearly white smile.
“Hey, Topaz.” she replied sticking her hand out. I shook it, and then smiled.
“Excited?” I asked referring to the trip.
“Yeah. I cannot wait!” she said grinning.
I laughed slightly, and gave her a nod.
I scanned the rest of the plane, seeing some loners resting their heads against the windows, and others talking to the person next to them.
I looked at the minature tv monitor in front of me, and sighed.
Only eleven more hours to go. Suddenly we all heard a loud “boom” noise. I shot straight up, looking around to see the reason of the noise.
“All passangers please hang on tight, we seem to be having some difficulties with the plane. One of ours wings has gotten hit by thunder, please stay calm.” I heard the voice of our piolt say.
“We’re gonna crash!” Someone yelled.
“We’re going to die!” Another voice screamed, the sound of panic rising in their voice.
Soon everyone was screaming, or crying.
So much for stay calm.

Okay ya’ll, I’m so happy we’re going to finally start this!! :]
Again, please reread the rules before posting.
Also I would like you to post in the following format every time to avoid confusion

The flight was going well, until the storm.

It came out of no-where, a freak of nature. We had been promised smooth sailing, and no weather issues. Well, I guess they made a mistake.

Sarcasm leaked into my thoughts. Millions of things running through my mind - had I told my dad I loved him? Was I ever going to see him again? Was I going to live through this? Why was I even here?
The last question, I couldn't answer. Why had I signed up this? "A good way to make some friends", dad had said, "Explore, be free". A missions trip to Africa - a free ticket to explore, and make a difference. I don't think we'll be arriving in Africa though.

Only minutes ago, I was talking with Sarah - a potential friend, and the person sitting next to me. She was nice, and truly happy about going to Africa, she's one of those people who can't help but give every part of there soul to every person they meet. She had made me feel important, but she was foolish, she believed she would always recieve love in return - I guess she's never had her heart in a million peice's on the floor.

A voice came through the speaker, "Please remain calm. The pilot's going to attempt to crash-land the plane on a nearby island".

I fastened my seatbelt tighter, and braced myself for the crash, not bothering to scream - it wouldn't make a difference if I did.

The girls in front of me were chattering away, their bright, cheery voices shrill in my ears. I scowled and swore under my breath. It was just my luck that my Ipod had decided to freeze for this journey.
But I had to go along with the whole thing, I didn't really have a choice. Well, I did but it was a Hobson's choice: go to Africa and help people, or go to juvie and be helped. Right at this moment, I wished that I'd taken the latter choice.

“All passangers please hang on tight, we seem to be having some difficulties with the plane. One of ours wings has gotten hit by thunder, please stay calm.”
The pilots voice cut through my thoughts and I sat bolt upright.
We were going to crash.
A girl near me began to scream. Someone else was shouting out loud. My hearing went fuzzy. The words "I'm going to die" were going round and round my head. Methodically hitting themselves against my skull.

"Please remain calm. The pilot's going to attempt to crash-land the plane on a nearby island".

I groaned and began to rock in my seat, I didn't want to crash. I didn't want to die.

Hugo - Pilot.

He cursed loudly. All of the warning lights were flashing and beeping at him. Danger! Danger!
Jerking the wheel, he managed to dip the plane slightly, hopefully they would land at a better angle.
The plane began to judder and vibrate, he could hear all the kids yelling as their heads knocked together.
He grabber the intercom and spoke into it.
"We'll be landing in about a minute. Please get into the emergency position and brace yourselves for contact."
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."

-Spock.

I was softly sleeping, waiting for us to get off at Africa. As the pilot's voice crackled to life on the plane, I jumped. "We will be landing in about a minute. Please get into the emergency position and brace yourselves for impact."

Several girls screamed. I looked out the window but couldn't see anything. There was no way I was asleep long enough for us to be touching down in Africa. I felt the plane jolt, and quickly braced myself, clutching the seat for dear life and praying under my breath as I felt the plane rapidly drop.

*Sorry, I can't put up a pic, school restrictions*

Ever was listening to her ipod, almost falling asleep. Her head was slowly falling onto her shoulder when she heard someone scream. She jolted upright and ripped her headphones out of her ears.

"We're going to crash!"

Ever looked around to see that just about everyone was freaking out about something, then it clicked when she felt the plane jolt beneath her. The plane's going down. She knew this wouldn't be good. She sat back in her seat, belted her seatbelt, and held on for the ride of her life.

*I'm sorry it took so long.*

The seconds befeore the crash seemed to make everything slow down, making the seconds feel like minutes. I heard everybody scream, including myself, as we dropped the remaining hundred or so feet.

The impact jolted through my spine, making my head fly back wards onto the headrest. The awful crunching noise of the plane scraping against the land rang in my ears as we slowly skidded to a stop. I carefully opened my eyes and squinted through the smoke that filled the plane.

I couldn't see anyone, but I could hear several people crying, or even sighing with the relief that we had survived the crash. The smoke began to lift, and as it did, I saw someone standing in the doorway between the control room and the cabin.

"Is everybody okay?" the captain asked, going around to everyone.

Someone was shouting, but I couldn't make out the words. Beating my fear into a tight little box, I unbuckled my seat-belt and stood, squinting in an attempt to see through the thick smoke.
I looked down.
"Are you ok?", I couldn't even hear myself over the incessant ringing.
He didn't reply, but flicked his eyes in my direction. Taking that and the lack of obvious injury as a yes I moved on, walking down the isle between rows towards the back, checking to see if everyone was ok. Pairs of girls sat wide eyed, some with tears tracking down their cheeks. Guys sat stony faced, pulling themselves together, the pallor of their skin the only giveaway to their sickening fear.
"Go open the door"
I turned, looked around, the captain was speaking to me.
Maneuvering back to the front, trying to ignore the pressure that had condensed around me, I tried the door. It was jammed.
