Hey, hi, hello, what's up? I'm Sasha.

I haven't written in months but, that is all about to change. I will admit, that I lost some of my passion for writing over the past year, but I hope that that will also change very soon. All I need is some incentive to keep writing and I think I will get that on this site! *jumps up and down with excitement*

Hey Sasha! Welcome to YWS! You can call me Stella, everybody does.

Going to start writing again? Hurrah! You've come to the right place. [insert speech about how YWS is a close-knit community where young writers can share advice and problems about writing as well as life in general HERE.] So I'm just going to give you a few pointers about the site itself:

-The current review ratio is 3:1, which means for every piece of your own work you post, you have to review three others. However, this is in the process of changing, by December it'll be 5:1. So it might be a good idea to get into the 5:1 habit now rather than later. I don't know, do it your way, but make sure you keep up with the current ration at least.

-We don't like CAPs or chtspk. Not that this seems to be a problem to you, it's just out of routine I mention it. Try and keep good grammar, but again, you seem like you'll do fine.

-Back to reviewing- we like meaty reviews. We like people to tell us what's wrong about our work. Look at the people with purple name's reviews to see good examples- they're the Instructors, reviewing is their speciality (I used to be one and am proud of it ). A review has to be fifty words long to be counted anyway.

-Just about the colouredy names, as I mentioned, there are Instructors. Blue/turquoise (it's a matter of opinion) is Greeters, they'll be round soon enough to welcome you and answer any questions you have. Dark green is Mods, who are, well, the Mods. They'll keep you in line. And light green are Junior Mods, who have mod powers in specific parts of the forums. Oh, and red is the admins. They're a bit like gods, really.

Now, for interrogation time: what do you write? What age are you? Where are you from (roughly, not your address, obviously, I just like to know people's nationalities )? Favourite author and band? Hobbies? Favourite cheese?

I currently write a lot of romance/coming of age/first love/first heart break kind of stuff since I can relate to it better (being all hormonal and heart broken and stuff). I am 15 years old, but I will be 16 in December. *does victory dance* I am half Spanish/half white (more or less). I have a lot of favorite authors, but the one I'm currently obsessed with is Nicholas Sparks (the only author who can make me sob uncontrollably) and my favorite band is Within Temptation. Hobbies? I like to play match maker every now and then. And I must say that cheddar cheese is my favorite type of cheese.
