I'm a newbie and need some help on some things. First off! What is the thing I need to do to post another story? I posted one but I can't post anything else! Why is that? What do I need to do?
Second  If I edit something based on the tips other people gave me then do I need to do a new subject or what?

Thank you peoples! You guys are awesome! :smt026 It a bouncie blob! Yay! Thank you everyone once again!

Hi there!
Ok, I had a look at your statistics and your review ratio is 1.5:1. It has to be 2:1 before you post any more works, so ... get reviewing!
And number two: I would just edit it without creating another post, and then just do your own reply to it telling everyone that it is now edited.
You're right - this site is awesome!
Hope this helps,
Aqua

Hi Queen! I'm Kat *shakes hand*

Aqua was so dear as to answer your questions, and I'd like to add two small things ;)

- The review ratio is a rule we have around here. It must be followed or you won't be allowed to post any literary work. Right now, the ratio is 2:1 (meaning twp reviews to one work), but on the beginning of October the ratio will go up to 3:1. A review is a reply that has at least approximately 50 words. But try to be helpful, some people just say 'Ah! It's awesome' and on and on, until they have enough length to count as a review.

-Some people, like to change the title to 'Na na na - Edited' (the edited being the important thing) so that the readers can know that the person has changed some things with that piece. If you do huge changes, I suggest you post again as a second version or edited.

Now, I have told you about one rule, but there are a couple more. Nothing big, simple things to follow ;D

- Try to keep the Caps Lock off, meaning keeping the Caps as limited as possible, and no chat speak. Yep, not even in Chat xD

- Post works that are only yours and were written/designed by you.

- Be nice to everyone! <-- more of advice than a rule :)

- Rate your work! When you submit something (not a reply, a literary thing) there should be a place on the page that says to rate your work. This is extremely important, because if it has strong language or more adult content, it should be rated R, so that our youngest members won't be reading what they shouldn't.

That's about it! I love your avatar, by the way. Really cute.
Now! Tell us more about yourself! What are your favorite genres? Fiction or poetry? Favorite books? What do you usually eat for beakfast? [/random]

Have a nice day! PM me if you need anything.

Hiya, Queen! ^-^

We've met briefly in chat, but I still thought I'd welcome you to the site. :)

Anyway, have you been wondering about the different-colored members? I'll enlighten you a bit about them. ;) Hope you don't mind.

Black - We're just the regular members.
Blue - Greeters! Their job is to meet and greet the new members to YWS, like you.
Purple - Instructors! They have some of the best critiques on the site and are very helpful to everyone's inner writer. ^-^
Green - There are two kinds - junior mods and universal mods - but both serve the same purpose: to keep the forums orderly and make sure everything run smoothly in this wonderful world. All of the mods are absolutely amazing.
Orange - Distinguished members! They are the retired moderators and are all just as awesome. ;)
Red - Administration! They run the site and make sure everything is running smoothly and efficiently. They are all pure awesomeness and just epic.

I hope that helped a bit. ;) Now for the hard part:

~What car would you describe yourself as?
~What color could you see your aura being?
~If you could meet anyone from the past, present, or literary world, who would you meet?

PM me if you need anything!

Welcome to YWS! And Hello. What's up?

I'm mizz-iceberg. Nice to meet you, miss. I am assuming that you are indeed a miss, if you are not, my apologies.

So tell us a bit more about yourself. Properly introduce yourself, please. :) who are your favourite writers? Your favourite books? Favourite genres to write in? Read? What type of music do you listen to. Current writing project you're working on?

I would also like to add, I think it would be a jolly good idea if you went through the FAQ. Or you can always PM me if you have a question, want a review, or just want to talk. :D

I guess I'll be seeing you around, then. :)
I'm a godmother, that's a great thing to be, a godmother. She calls me god for short, that's cute, I taught her that.
