Aah, love your siggy.

Hey, Midori! I'm Lily, and welcome to the addictive fun site we call YWS!

Before I launch into the interrogation warm greetings, let me acquaint you, if you haven't acquainted yourself, with the Rules! There is, of course, a full list, but the two core ones (which loads of people forget and thus we have to remind you) aaaaaare....:

1) The 2:1 ratio! For every work you post, be it a story, a poem, a script, or whatever else comes to mind, you have to post two reviews for others' works. Be sure to do it before you post, or our mods will eat your brains. It'll be going up soon, though, be warned!

2) No CAPSLOCK or chtspk! As writers, we are extremely proud of protective of language, so butchering it, no matter how convienient, is a no-no. But terms like lol (laughing out loud), POV (point of view), MC (main character) and so on are totally fine.

A fellow J. K. Rowling fan! And a fellow Twilight "non-fan"! I'm sure - I know you'll meet plenty of people with the same view. I don't listen to that kind of music though. What else do you do as a hobby, by the way? Do you play football (or as they call it, soccer)? Is making pudding your strong point?

So, you like writing fantasy and horror? That's bee's knees, I heart ghost stories quite as much as I do apples, which is a lot. If you write anything, let me know - I haven't read a ghost story in ages. Which reminds me, if you need a review for your work that nobody seems to want to give you, you can go to Will Review For Food, where people are clamouring to critique! It's at the Writing Corner, which is under Writing Resources.

Have fun, hope to see you around!

Cheers,
Lily.

Hi! Welcome to YWS! If you were wondering what the colored names means, here's a clue:

Black: Regular Member. You start out with a black name, it simply stands for being a Regular Member.
Blue: Greeter. A greeter is very active, especially in the Welcome forum. They introduce themselves to new users, so Greeters are probably the first members that you will meet. They are responsible for answering any initial questions.
Purple: Instructors. An instructor takes the time to critique submissions and publish writing tips. Instructors go above and beyond in helping others to improve their writing.
Light Green: Junior Moderators. A Jr. Mod, moderate individual sections on the board. That is, Junior Mods only moderate a single category like Fiction, Poetry, or General Discussion.
Green: Moderators. Moderators are responsible for maintaining entire sections of boards. They keep an eye out for civil discussions, ensuring that vulgar language is appropriately used, warning members when they are out of line, and at all times acting as a representative of YWS.
Red: Administrators. Administrators are responsible for the general upkeep of the board, overseeing all Moderators, Mentors, Instructors, and Greeters. They are also responsible for the direction of the board.

I love your Avie by the way*adorable*. Since I don't have what the normal world calls "friends" and I'm isolated from society, I read like a super lot too. It gives me new worlds to discover and new people to meet. I found out when I was little I could also create those world through writing and I never set down my pen and paper till the day we got a computer. I also like anime and manga. I draw some Manga though I'm not going to claim to be even decent at it. I love anime and I used to watch tons of it but there's just so much of it I could waste all my time watching it and never get anything done!
But enough about me! What are some of your favorite anime series or DS games? How about books since that seems a little more appropriate for a writing website? See you around!

I'm a godmother, that's a great thing to be, a godmother. She calls me god for short, that's cute, I taught her that.
