hows everyone doin? I've been lookin for a site like this for quite a while now somewhere where i can post my stories and have people about my age read them, most of the adults that read my stories like them it's just that my stories aren't intended for older readers. I hope everyone here that reads my stories likes them.

~ Please keep a 2:1 ratio for reviews to works you've posted. You are allowed one "freebe" literary work, but other than that you must keep your review ratio at 2:1. You can check your ratio at any time by going to your profile and clicking "user statistics." Your review ratio will be under how many reviews you have total.
Also, keep in mind that come October first, Nate [the creator of YWS] will be increasing the review ratio to 3:1. Better review a little extra, just in case!
~ Keep chatspeak to a minimum. This means using "great" instead of "gr8" and "to/too" for "2." Term abbreviations like lol, brb, PoV and MC are fine, however. ^^
~ If your work is rated R, please put that in the title. There are younger kids on this site who might not want to read an R rated story, and until Nate gets the rating system back up we have to put the ratings in the titles. A work should be rated R if it has the f-word or adult content.

So, if you want someone that's guaranteed to really give you some good advice on your stories, PM someone in purple! Junior Mods and Senior Mods control forums. Junior mods look after certain parts, senior mods have full power! Administrators are red. They are the reason we are up and running, and why we have a spanking new site! Black. The majority of YWS users. But don't be decieved, they're all awesome!
