Hello, peoples!

Hi!

I'm very new to Young Writers Society, I just joined yesterday actually.

Well, there's not much bout me to say really...

You may call me Delilah Mayfair. I'm sixteen years old and I live in London.

These are the subjects that if you mention to me I will not shut up about:

Harry Potter, Friends, One Tree Hil, Vogue, Robert Pattinson, makeup, Desperate Housewives...anything with a little bit of drama, humour and fashion.

My passion is writing and my dream is to be a fashion journalist who writes her own books on the side. Don't laugh! I bet people laughed at J.K. Rowling when she said she wanted to be a famous author, and now look at her!

Anyway, I eat anything with a bit of sugar and my favourite food would probably be pasta, the more Italian the better and my favourite dessert is cheescake. Favourite drink would be white wine and anything jelly-like will do for a snack.

I like writing, sewing, cooking, watching TV, fashion, reading, singing, dancing, acting...that's about it...

So, I hope you like what you've heard and I hope I'll fit in around here.

Hi. I'm here to be polite. I'm not a girly girl so I doubt that we'll get along.

What she didn't mention is that she's also my friend So I command you all to bow down to her! Now!

Okay, just a few things to keep you in the know:

-At the moment there's a 2:1 ratio here on YWS of review:work but to make things complicated, as of yesterday, this is changing! So by December you'll need five reviews for every piece of your own work you post, so you might want to start out at five. Also, YWSers like harsh reviews

Actually, I have to go, but I leave you in the hands of these wonderful people!

I love Harry Potter too! Never heard of the other things though... Except makeup. And makeup isn't my thing.

You haven't met very many people on here have you? None of us would laugh at a dream like that. Almost all of us have that kind of dream.
