Last time I left off the main character had found love with a boy named Tomas. Her father left her when she was young and her mother was crazy. Enjoy!

Everything was perfect, until he came home. I had a wonderful boyfriend, my mother was settling down, and I was loosening up. Perfect, but when I was the red and white mustang convertible in my drive way, I knew things were about to be far from perfect.

My father walked up the front steps of our house with the same bounce in his step I had seen thirteen years. My instinct was to turn off the lights lock the doors and close the shades. I went against all of them and watched him come to the door.

"No, we don't want you back!" I yelled as I opened the door, only to slam it in his face. I waited for him to leave the driveway. As soon as he did I called Tomas to pick me up.

I got into his car and gave him a quick kiss. I told him what had happened only moments ago as he drove to a nearby park.

"So, what should I do?" I said after revealing the whole story. "Wait, talk to your mom first. See what she has to say about it. Then call me if you don't like what is happening. I know how much your mom likes me, I am sure I can convince her to see your side. If you do like what is happening still call me. I like to be informed." he said smiling. I smiled back. I loved his smile. His white teeth peaked through his upturned lips. I found it hard to keep myself from drooling. We leaned in and kissed. He drove me home.
My mother's reaction was far from what I had expected.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had expected my mother to yell and scream, asking things like why he thinks he has the right to come back here after all that he had put us through. Yet she didn't when I told her that my father had come home she just stood in her bedroom doorway and smiled.
I called Tomas like he had asked and told him about my mother smiling. He told me to calm down.
"Calm down! Calm down! How do you expect me to calm down when my mother has gone against me?"
"Baby, honey, she isn't against you. She just knows something and your bright, beautiful woman who will figure out what it is that she knows."
"Thank you. I am sorry I overreacted. I will see you tomorrow at school." I clicked the phone off and set it back on its carrier. I got dressed for bed. As I climbed in I heard my mother on the phone.
"No, John, I won't do it. Not tonight. I will try tomorrow but I will not put her through it tonight."
I ran this through my head. John… that might be my father. What won't she do tonight? Who is the “her” she is talking about? I set my head on the pillow and drifted to sleep. All the while my mom talked on the phone. My head filled with pictures of my father. Then the last picture was my mother, crying at the counter. The same picture as the one I saw the morning after my father left.
That was a very intriguing story. I really like the plot and how the ending is so "Too Be Continued" like. (thats a good thing) It really makes the reader wants to keep reading and makes you almost frustrated when you realise that its done, (I go through that with many of the novels I read) :D I really didn't see any errors other than
---> "Calm down! Calm down! now i don't know for sure but I think she is asking him a question. I may be wrong but if she is then it would usually be put this way
----> "Calm down?! Calm down?!" See? that proves that it actually is a question. But other than that I'm hooked on the story. Keep on writing!
