I'm still working on it, critiques welcomed.

Kara woke to darkness, an occasional dripping, and a chill. Suddenly there was a whoosh, and just like that there was a torch lit to her left. She looked around to see a cloaked figure ahead of her, she was unsure if it was a guy or a girl. The person looked kind of like one of the elves from Lord of the Rings, very andro. He/she had short shaggy hair and their bright green eyes that seemed to burn into hers. When she could pull away she noticed an old style vest and breeches, both looked like they were made from an animal hide, but not from a machine. The body was a lean one, like they never ate junk food, and worked out all the time; the vest was tight, and it appeared to not have a shirt beneath. Kara could make out small, almost unnoticeable breasts; there was also no bulge at the front of the breeches, so clearly female. Kara wasn’t surprised, well at least not by a chick dressed like a dude. Being kidnapped…yes, but it did seem kind of nice to have someone want her.
The woman seemed puzzled, her head cocked to one side, eyes shielded. 'Was she a mind reader or something,' Thought Kara. She wasn’t sure what the woman was thinking, and was trying to be brave since she hadn't harmed her, she thought she might not be hostile. She stood straight and continued to study her captor. Her captor frowned, eyes blazing. “Why do you refer to me in that manner? You were depressed, and passed out from pure rejection. I couldn’t leave you there to die of loneliness.” Kara folded her arms across her chest and raised an eyebrow as she looked at her captor. “I saved you, I flew here as fast as I could so I could put you in my bed, but you woke before I could.”
Kara was unsure how to feel, “I’m honestly unsure if I should believe you or not, taking someone without their consent is kidnapping.” She thought she hid her uneasiness, but her body shook slightly as she stood. “Did you really mean to save me from myself, or did you have something else in mind? I feel your hunger, I’m not sure if it is in fact hunger or lust, whatever it is, it isn’t pity. What do you plan to do with me?” Something passed over her captors face too fast to follow, then was stoic again. “You may believe what you want; I had thought you needed help, I felt the dispare and loneliness as if it were my own. If you feel fatigued, perhaps a time in my hot spring will rejuvenate you.”
The figure walked past her, Kara said, “Wait!” The figure stopped and turned to look at her. Kara said, “I am Nyna of the Rose clan, but you may call me Nyna.” Kara was feeling a bit less afraid the more she spoke with Nyna, she seemed generally interested in her well being, she smiled. “It’s good to have a name to the face. I'm Kara. So why do you hide from the world, and hide what you are?” Nyna frowned, “I do not hide who I am...I do however hide from the world. Yes…but I would tell anyone that asked that I was a woman, I simply prefer to be thought a man, I have more freedom.” Kara smiled, “Ah they do seem to have more freedom don’t they?” Nyna returned the smile, “Yes they do, I have lived for far too many decades as a woman, I find this guise (she indicated her attire) makes it easier to do as I wish and is far more comfortable than a corset and all that rubbish!”
She turned and preceded down the corridor, Kara had no choice but to follow or talk to her self. In a matter of minutes Nyna stopped in front of a large opening in the rock wall. Kara peered over Nyna’s shoulder and into the room beyond. It was a vast cavern; in its center was a large bubbling pool of water. It was too dark to see anything else. A second later…whoosh, torches were lit in the corners of the cavern, revealing large urns filled with wild flowers.
The walls were carved with birds and gods, similar to Egyptian art, but not quite elaborate, nor did they seem to tell a story. By the pool, a long, clean slab of marble was lain, on one side was a pile of crisp white towels, and on the other was a row of small jars containing rose petals, one of leaves, light brown fluid, and others she couldn’t identify. Nyna stepped aside and motioned Kara inside, and then she followed close behind. Not wanting this woman to know she was scared, Kara pulled her shirt up over her head, turning a little away from Nyna as she did so. She felt a little odd around this woman, she knew Nyna wanted something from her, but she wasn’t entirely sure what it was. If it were her Nyna craved she would not egg her on. She removed her jeans, slower than she realized, the cool air gave her goose pimples and made her shiver. She stole a glance at Nyna, she was watching her with intensity. Kara walked to the pools edge, dipped her big toe in and walked in when she deemed in perfect. She turned her head to see if Nyna was still there. Nyna felt the pull of this little urchin. She took a few steps forward, stopped herself and looked away from Kara’s beautiful body. Thinking to her self, ‘No Nyna you mustn’t scare her.’ She stole a glance at Kara, ‘No matter how much you want her.’ Nyna found herself within touching distance before she caught herself.
Kara had watched Nyna approach quietly, trying not to show her curiosity. She noticed just how hard Nyna fought to control her self. Clothed, and up to her knees in water was sure if she wanted to laugh or bolt. She hid her emotions as best she could. “Did you plan on joining me? I thought this was just for me.” Stammering Nyna said, “Well…uh…of course, I just wanted to join you but I was unsure I you would mind.” Her eyes looked frustrated. “I’m not sure.” She thought to herself, ‘Nyna is such a dork, its kind of cute.’ She’s curious but a bit scared too. ‘Gods give me strength’, prayed Nyna. Smiled forcefully, trying to hide her nervousness, stomach queasy. Her energy filled the room like a strong scent, Kara was overwhelmed with it, and she struggled to breathe. Kara could barely get out the words, “What is that…. I can’t breathe…help me.” Her eyes were wide with horror; she bent over clawing at her chest, looking like a psyche patient seeing invisible things crawling on her. 'Bloody Hell!" Nynas’ control was failing; all her nervous and sexual energy was going to smother Kara. Her lust, her raw need, Nyna closed her eyes and thought of a calm sea, the warm sun on her face, salty ocean spray in her hair. The turmoil eased, Kara stopped clawing her chest, and then gradually began breathing normally.
Nynas’ nerves eased, and she felt more at ease. "Thank the gods, your well, I thought I had harmed you for sure, I apologize, my wits had left me." She said it so seriously Kara was distracted from what just happened. Kara thought, 'What the hell, why am I not mad at her, why am I not afraid of her, is she that klutzy and charming that I can't stay afraid of her for long?'
She smiled, waiting for Kara to respond. About a minute later, “Honestly I'm unsure on what to think of you.” She had said it in a dreamy voice. Nyna thought, 'Oh this lovely Urchin' as she stared at Kara’s chin length jet-black hair, robins egg eyes. She had a sudden defiant pout of her lips, and sternness on her face.  'Body of an ivory goddess, oh how you must know my thoughts!' Nyna again made her face a mask, but failed miserably, she undid her breeches and   Kara turned her attention to the table with jars and towels; it seemed too grand for a cave. She wondered how the towels were kept so soft looking.  Pulled them down and off either leg, then threw them onto the cavern floor in a wet heap. She took off her vest, her breasts were larger than they had appeared under the vest, perky and cupable. Nyna removed a leather strap from her blond hair, it seemed to flow down as she walked towards Kara, just covering the top of her breasts.
The jars seemed to have several different colors and textures. She waded over to the table and examined each jar in turn.  She picked one that was a light brown, she held it under her nose and could smell apples and honey, and she found it hard to decide between the apples and honey or the rose pedals after looking from one to the other decided on the fruity one. She waded back to the center of the pool and proceeded to rub the concoction over her breast when a gasp startled her. Kara looked up to see Nyna throwing down an armful of clothes, and walking towards her, her face was so determined, eyes clouded over, but focused, like she no longer had control of herself. Kara was freaked, she tried to run, but the water was too deep so she walked to the table with clothes, the look of horror on Kara’s face had stopped Nyna in mid-motion, her tunic off and laying on the ground behind her, trousers untied, she watched Kara calmly, blankly, knowing that she had spooked the girl and must let her leave or have her completely frantic.
Kara grabbed a towel and dried off furiously, then climbed into her jeans, buttoning and zipping them like she was on speed, then she pulled her t-shirt over her head, she didn’t care about under stuff she crammed on her shoes and ran for the door as fast as she could. She ran right past Nyna and didn’t look back, running through the door and she started down the hall but it was too dark to see, Nyna had vanquished the torches. Kara screamed, “Dam it Nyna, will you light the damned torches!” In her head, loud and clear, ‘I will not help you leave me, but I won’t stop you either, do as you wish, but remember love, running into a wall could kill you!’ Kara slowed to a slow walk, putting her hands out in front of her she felt around like a newly blind person. She was scared, and wasn’t sure if Nyna would be true to her word and not stop her from leaving, nor did she know what all Nyna could do. She felt like she hadn’t made any progress, though she knew she’d been at it for at least 5 minutes, frustrated she thought, ‘If only my powers were more reliable, being able to see in the dark would be awesome.’ Moments later she could see a bit better, nothing in front, a wall to her left. It only helped a little, running still wouldn’t be good, but at least she could go forward and not worry as much.
‘No…why did I not know you could do this? Why are you so frightened of me, I haven’t hurt you have I?’ Kara started jogging, thinking she could stop faster; she made a left turn, went about a hundred yards, and then made a right turn. It was a dead end, wait, no something is jutting out from the wall. She took a few steps forward to examine the wall when she heard a whoosh, and she was grabbed from behind. Kara screamed, she kicked and flailed her arms, she went to throw her head back but Nyna stopped her before she made contact with hers. “I will not harm you, please stop struggling…I am lonely and I only want you as my companion, I didn’t mean to lose control, I…just find you so beautiful and…I am truly sorry for scaring you, I would never of forced myself onto you, please, stay with me.”
Kara stopped struggling, and was slack in Nyna’s arms, she was tired, she didn’t want to stay here with Nyna because she had brought her here against her will, and something else bothered her about Nyna, scared her. It wasn’t her powers, well a little, but not entirely, she was full elf, but chose to live amongst humans, her powers haven’t really shown themselves yet, except for the seeing in the dark; so that couldn't be it. Nyna felt old, she was…attractive, but she looked like a man, even her features were masculine. Nyna let go of Kara who landed with a thud right onto her knees. “Fuck! Could you at least have warned me?” She rubbed her knees as she scolded, she turned to head to look at Nyna, and saw that she was standing there; she was completely stoic, even her eyes looked like mirrors. It made Kara mad, “What now you won’t even speak to me, won’t show me a hint of emotion, what the hell are you Vulcan? I doubt it, as far as I know they prefer Europe to the U.S.” Her knees still sore but deciding they should hold her Kara stood, nodded to herself, then walked the 5 feet or so to the wall and examined it. Yes! It looked like the rungs of a ladder led up to a small hole in the cavern ceiling, but something was blocking it, maybe. She started climbing the ladder; slowly because she wasn’t sure how sturdy it was, not knowing if it was carved into the wall or what. When it held her she went all the way up, she was about 10 ft off the ground. She looked down to see Nyna looking up at her, eyes looking sad for a moment, and then switching to unreadable again. Kara frowned, and then looked back upwards. She was right on the hole now, she saw that a rock was covering the hole, she pushed on it but it was too heavy.
Nyna watched this little girl struggle with the boulder she had covering her lair with growing happiness. If she could not move the boulder, she could not leave.
Kara was getting mad, ‘Dam it, why can’t I leave here? I want out now!’ The rock felt like it was getting colder, and yet her hands didn’t, she frowned at the rock. “No it can’t be, my powers are coming to me now?” The rock was slick and a giant icicle now, she grabbed the top rung with one hand and with the other she tapped on the rock, yep ice. She wondered how hard she could hit the rock without breaking her hand. Nyna had heard all of the girls’ thoughts; she frowned up at her and said, “Be careful little one, I do not posses the power of healing.” Kara took a risk and punched the rock with all her might, not caring if she broke all the bones in her arm in the process, she wanted out and she was determined to go. The rock disintegrated on contact, shards of ice and rock rained down and Kara hugged the wall, waiting for the last of it to fall; then she climbed up and out as Nyna screamed, “Nooooo! You will not leave me.” Her eyes blazed green as she sped up to grab Kara’s’ ankle but missing for Kara had learned speed of her own and was gone.
