Ivy felt comforted immediately. She soon drifted to sleep with Colton so close to her. And just for tonight, there would be sweet dreams.
----
"Ivy," Colton shook her a little. Her eyes fluttered open.
"Mmm?" She asked.
"Let's get up," he smiled. Ivy grumbled. Was dawn really that early? Why couldn't he let her sleep in a little.
"I let you sleep in some," she laughed quietly at her expression. Ivy grumbled and got up slowly. Colton had already turned away, knowing how flimsy her clothes were.
She grabbed the clothes she had already set out from yesterday and changed, in Ella's and her room. Her single bag was sitting on the floor. Ivy didn't really have much of a choice but to have a very small amount of luggage, though it was the largest bag she had.
Ivy left her hair down, mostly because Colt liked it more when she left it down. Her dress was a dark, navy blue with quarter sleeves. One of her more comfortable dresses.
She leaned over Ella's bed and kissed her forehead lightly. She would miss her new found friend.
"I'm ready," she whispered to Colton. "Though I'm sure you're going to want to say goodbye to your family. Give them my thanks and apologies...I just can't take anymore good-byes."
