There we go. Anyway, hello everyone. I've been a member of this site since March, but I haven't really been too active. I joined to get criticism on my writing and meet new friends, which I assume makes me about like everyone else here. Anyway, now that that's out of the way, I suppose I could list a few interesting things about me.
- I'm a sex maniac (told you that word was in here somewhere), but I'm also a love freak. Both are inseparably intertwined for me. Monogamy rules and is my preference, but polyamory is all right if you can dig it, sister. Young love is the best. If you read anything by me, it WILL have some kind of romantic sub plot, usually between younger people with a very large amount of sexual tension and the like.
- Despite being completely straight, I just LOOOOOOOOOOOVE musicals. Just got done seeing the revival of Hair on Broadway, actually. It was truly fabulous.
- For the longest time, I thought I was a liberal because I was constantly disagreeing with the politics of everyone at the red state white trash redneck school system I grew up in. Then I went to Ohio University looking for liberal minded people, and you know what I found? I must be politically moderate, because everyone there is too loose, wasteful, stupid, and so far to the left that I found that a balance really is the best.
- I love anime and Japanese stuff, but I hate anime conventions and the vast majority of the American otaku I've met because of how stupid they act. I'd like to meet some who don't act like immature morons.
- I'm technically a country boy, and I live on a farm, but I'd like to think I don't fit the stereotype at all.
There we go. I don't know what else to say, except that I'd love to friend anyone who wants to. I'm really looking for people I can chat with on IM about writing and cool stuff. Well, there it goes.
