Cat Eye

Of course, I mean human eye made up like a cat eye, but you already knew that, right? Of course you did X)

I drew this a few months ago, and I am quite proud of it ^^ I'm a huge fan of CATS, the musical, so I drew an eye that has been made up the same way they do it

I sorta used my own eye as a reference, by looking in the mirror lol. The only thing I needed it for was the basic shape. The lashes, eyebrow, and iris/pupil I was able to do freehand ^^

Of course though, I had to darken my initials so that you peppoles don't steal it I know it's kinda light; I hope you can see it anyway. It was TONS of fun, with the smuding and all.

Probably took...5-10 minutes, at the very most. Heehee I draw fast X)

I was GOING to post another wolf picture that I finished tonight, but I'm sick and tired of having my wolf pictures get slammed, so I decided to post this instead, that has few, if any, flaws

AND, if anyone is prepared to rag on me about any of the things that are included (i.e. the wings on the eyebrow, the line under the eye, anything that isn't on a regular eye), go look up a picture of CATS makeup, then we'll see if you come back ready to battle it out with me *evil laugh*

I like this alot more than the fat wolf.

The only thing that I can really critic you on is the fact that the eyebrow is kinda weird. Maybe cat eyes are like that, personally I think they are demons in disguise haha but that just me. So otherwise this is really good.

Yeah, I just looked VERY closely at it, and I think the eyebrow could be a little longer...lol. Ah well. I draw a LOT of eyes; I have a page of just eyes laying around here someplace...O_o But I'll definitely do that next time I draw one

Are you going to make a second draft of this? If so, I have some ideas. It would be easier to see if you darkened the lines with ink or some type of opaque watercolor. I really like it in black and white, but color might also look cool. The lashes would look even more awesome if you made them longer. If you study an eye, you'll see that the lashes get long in the middle and are shorter on the end. Maybe look at an ad for mascara? Those are way exaggerated but it shows the shape I'm talking about.

This is so cool!

I think it's really good, but the lines are pretty light. The wrinkles on the eyelid are a bit too sharp as well; I would just curve those a little bit just to make them more natural-looking. And! On the pupil, I would put a darker spot in the middle of the big circle, because if you look at a human eye, there's the darkest spot, then the color spot, then the sclera. If that makes any sense?

But it's really cool! You did a wonderful job!

Is is very pretty! Very delicate. Not that I know very much about sketching but i think you could have used a darker pencil or pen. Good job!
