The last dance

Was the first time
They saw each other
Fell in love with one another
He asked her to dance

CHORUS
They danced together
Such a romance forever and he sang to her
Relax take a breath
Step back look inside
Don’t hide form me
Give me a chance to have this dance with you
Somewhere forever
We can be together
But as long as I live I will have this dance with you

60 year later their love got greater
But she lay on death bed she looked at him and she said
Tonight I leave you I know you’ll be alright but tonight
We will have one last dance he picked her up
Holding her in his arms

CHORUS

They closed their eyes
Saw each other loved one another
He looked at her She looked at him

CHORUS
X2

This is a lovely song. I'm not sure how to edit a song, but I can tell you that the song had a nice flow and good lyrics.

"But she lay on death bed she looked at him and she said
Tonight I leave you I know you’ll be alright but tonight
We will have one last dance he picked her up
Holding her in his arms"

This part reminds me of the movie The Christmas Shoes. There was a sence in the movie similar to this.

Anyhoo,
Good job.

only when the clock stops does time come to life."--William Faulkner

I think it is a good song, which flows nicely. I can imagine a tune running through my head, which creates a good atmousphere.

Me , myself. I am not usually a lyricist, but recently I have been writing lyrics, for I am a songwriter for my band, and my friend would write the lyrics, but I am now stepping up for the challenge, and for me that worked really nicely.

Just a few questions, out of interst. For which genre of music is it written, and have you made a tune to it?

thankyou

There was nothing he enjoyed more than a good book. He'd wander into the study, take down some leather-bound volume, and eat it.
