A Jewish Duet

As abalone clings

The cabaletta lingers,

The Ealdorman sings

His gaberdine in his fingers.

They sing Jabberwocky songs;

A cabala tune it doth sound,

As the leavy hillsides long;

Nae but to be able to sing along.

That pachydermous man and his lady

To each other roband under trees shady.

P.S. In this context the word "Jabberwocky" means: meaningless syllables that seem to make sense

Wow! This is beautiful! I feel kind of dumb because I had to look up a few of those words...but I love the tone of this poem. The meter is very elegant and flows nicely. Wow!! You are one talented writer! One critique however: just put a period at the end. This poem is very beautiful! :D

Whoops!! Forgot the period!
Yeah, you may have had some trouble understanding some words because for this poem I did this thing where I selected ten random words from a dictionary and use them in a poem. Kinda hard, actually, especially fitting "Jabberwocky" in there.

Haha I feel stupid cause I didn't know what all of the words meant haha. I did however know Jabberwocky haha. All in all it's really good.
My reality comes to a close as I once again realize that you don't love me, and even if I love you with my everything you will never care.

Ten words from a dictionary, huh? I should try that sometime...to help get the creative juices flowing! Keep up the good work! You're a great writer!
