There should really be a 'both' option, I think? Although I definately enjoy critiquing, writing comes out on top without a doubt. *nods* Writing is mah life.
"Let's eat, Grandma!" as opposed to "Let's eat Grandma!": punctuation saves lives.
But really, I'm not sure anymore. When I first came on here, I was a writer. Hated reviewing, thought MY stuff was the best, and wanted everyone to critique it while not really giving any critiques. Or at least not good ones.
As time went on, though, I got better and better at critiquing other people's work. I decided my own stuff was crap, and so I never posted it. Instead, I tore other people's poems to shreds. I still posted stuff, but I wasn't as happy with it, and I doubt I ever will be (although I do appreciate everyone who's taken the time to review my writing).
That said, I still love writing, but I do plan on reviewing more too. I have an exciting new writing project in the works (one I may actually have to finish due to peer pressure), but I'm waiting to post it until it gets a little further along (although I did post the first part in my blog [/shameless plug]).
Plus, as of last count, I had 432 reviews and just over 50 works. I think that's about 80 to 1. Not bad, eh?

I'm definitely more of a critiquer. I love to crit when I have the time though having two jobs is a bit time consuming. When I write something that I'm extremely proud of or that I know needs a lot of work, I post it. But for the most part, I'm always looking for something good to review.
Ps, if you want anything reviewed, PM me.
Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.
I dunno. XD I'm more of a writer, I think. I love to read other people's stuff, but I'm shy about critiquing most of the time; I feel like I just don't have anything interesting or helpful to say. XD

Writer all the way. I can review, but only if I like the work. And I hate reviewing works that have already been reviewed because then I feel like I'm just repeating what's already been said.
