***Before he moves****
And I love you because of all the little things you do. The way you're always there for me, even when we aren't together. The way your hand always finds mine, fingers lacing through fingers until we finally talk about what's wrong. The way your lips have a distinct flavor--the flavor of soul mates making their bond stronger, with every hug, with every tear. Everything is worth it when it comes to you, though. You can always heal the worst heartache, find the cure for all of my tears. You are the person my heart chose to become my life. If you aren't in it, why have it? If I had never found you, I would have never experienced true love. This type of love is once in a lifetime. It's priceless.
If you ever left me, I would sell my soul to yours, just so we could be together, even though you wouldn't know it. And I figure, I'll never find another you. There could be a million mes', but in her heart there would only be you. You are me. I am you. We are each other. Our love is so strong that no distance possible can try to hold me back from you. We were made for each other, only it's more complicated. My heart is the other half of yours. My soul is intertwined so deeply with yours that we create spiderwebs when we walk. And we don't know it yet, but the spider silk is turning to gold. No one fulfills me like you. My eyes shine brighter, my smile is wider, my whole aura gets happier. Just with you. Just for you. I could be held by everyone in the world, but only your arms would ever feel like home. When you see the color yellow, remember me. Yellow stands for everything worthwhile. When I see the color purple, I'll think of you. Because your eyes are so deep and mysteriously amazing that only purple can live up to them.
When you're looking at the ocean, I'll be staring at the trees. Don't forget me. Do this for me. Every night, look up at the night sky. I'll be staring at the same stars, and that puts us closer together than ever.
She finally put down her pen, and glanced quickly at the sky one more time before creeping silently back into the dark house. She stalked through the quiet hallway, feeling the clammy walls to find her way back to her room. The light she left on casted menacing shadows on her walls, causing her to slip out of her clothes and into her bed quickly. Her hands found their way to her tear soaked face, wiping the salty lines away from her quivering mouth. She turned her I-pod off, it wasn't helping. She set it to play When You're Gone by Avril Lavigne over and over again. Her tears were falling onto her letter. She knew she could never send it. Turning her light off silently, she looks at the clock. It read 11:11 p.m. She wished for him to never leave, but her heart had already said its unheard goodbyes. She mentally prepared herself for the next day where her soul would have to say goodbye. Her eyes fluttered, then closed, but she was far from sleep. How would he react? Would he cry?
"Oh please, don't let him cry." She whispered softly to herself.
If she had her way, he would never have to move to Florida. Her parents would never have hated him. She somberly remember the day her parents had forbade her from ever seeing him again. This was like her own personal Romeo and Juliet, except Romeo never moved. Her eyes flew open, looking for the cat that he had gave her. Finding it on her nightstand, she grabbed it and held it gently in her hands. The cat's name was Oreo, and it was in fact plastic. He gave it to her the very first time they started dating. He told her to look after it, to protect it, because his mom had given it to him when they used to live together. Now, he was moving to Florida to live with her again.
A solid lump was in her throat, forming something in the pit of her stomach. Panic. What would he do down there? Would he be strong enough to say no without her? She fell asleep to questions not answered.
