I love your stubby fingers
and your crooked little toes
I love your chubby cheeks
and your little button nose
I love your big blue eyes and your
auburn hair
I love your rosy lips and your
dimpled derriere
I know that you'll grow up to be such
a perfect lady
How does mama know?
Because you are such a perfect baby.

Hi Angel Wing,

I'm June, welcome to YWS!

This is a really cute poem. The rhyming was very well done, and the rhythm was even, swift and brilliant. I love how it's capturing a tender moment between mother and daughter without having to say much.

Very, very, very well done. Tell your sister this was very nice to read. ^_^

From this users BF:

I usually can't understand poems to save my life, and I understood this one, and even had a ryhme scheme as I read it.

Very Well done for those of us who can't read poems.

That was sweet! I found the rhyming perfectly understandable, and easily flowing. I'm sure the girl this was written for will enjoy it. That is, if your sister chooses to share it with her. :)

Hi Angel ^^ Shina here and I'll be your reviewer for this evening. I fixed some of the punctuation, but I think you might've wanted it without periods.

The first half of the poem is good with the rhyme scheme, but the second half >< Not so much.

*auburn hair <--- this line needs more syllables
*a perfect lady <----this doesn't rhyme with the line before it and it needs more syllables.
And the last 6 lines your keep the rhyme together with the "dy"

Hope I've helped ^^

Aww! That is so sweet and extremely well written. I really love how she describes her daughter and how the poem is written directly to her. Maybe she could add some punctuation and the line auburn hair could be improved or combined. I love the simplicity of it and the rhyme scheme. Really good poem. :D

I'm sure when her daughter reads it and is old enough to understand it she'll love it, anyone would love if their mom wrote that about them :)
We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.
