You broke my heart
But at least I still have my art
I’ll read movies
I’ll watch books
I’ll live, breathe, and fuck art
You watch me
I’ll be a big name
Big cock
Jizz all over the magazine page
You don’t understand me
You go fuck him
I’ll watch Contempt
And feel contempt
Maybe I’ll hang myself
Choke on my spit

2

I talked to you
I held you
I kissed you
I slept with you

Girls do what girls will
Girls do who girls will

You’re a fucking whore

3

Give me one reason
I shouldn’t take this knife
And run it across my throat
No?
Okay.

4

If life’s all about having fun, fun, fun
What the fuck do I need a heart for?

5

You once said
If I can’t win
Then everybody has to lose

That’s what happened
There’s nothing to say
I’ll get over it or
I won’t

You’ve got a beautiful lip
Teeth like a rabbit’s
Makes me want to do
Mean things

You can leave
I won’t mind
But if you do
Please don’t
Change your mind

He was my friend too

6

Tonight
I saw
My best friend
Walk beside you
Hand in hand
Side by side
I imagined you naked
His arms around you
Close and warm and forever

Teenagers don’t know
What it is
To be in love
They jerk and they finger
They suck and they fuck
They get off
And call it love

I wish the best for you
I really do

I hope you gag on his cum

Chumba Chum (10:12:41 PM): i know my apologies are just words
Chumba Chum (10:12:50 PM): whether they are of value to you or not
Chumba Chum (10:13:08 PM): please know that i really am sorry.
consp irAtO r12 (10:13:16 PM): for the scale of what you did to me, apologies are just apologies
Chumba Chum (10:13:48 PM): yeah.
Chumba Chum (10:13:57 PM): but i must finish my homework.

Well, here we've got 92 lines of teenage angst. Some of it was just unecessary. For instance, "Big cock" in the first stanza didn't have to be there. Overall, it was different but at the same time stuff I see on xangas and myspaces daily. But I loved how you put the instant message conversation at the end...it made it so much more real.
when there's nowhere to go, it's time to grow up.

Heh.
I can like aggree with this on like so many levels. Especially like the very first stanza.

And I aggree with Chevy a bit, the end does make it seem a bit realistic.

Last line of part six made me laugh. It's a serious piece but...hehe. I liked it. Maybe some of the swear words were unneccessary-used in moderation they would have more impact, you know, surprise the reader more. I think a lot of people could relate to this, I know a guy who probably could once, and hell did I feel for him then. Not to everybody's taste, but it was to mine.
Matt.

Well, I don't see the reason for the divisions. There is no obvious change in perspective. If there was, the poem would have much more depth to it. The best part of the poem is Part 7, the online conversation. Some parts are repetitive, and others are vulgar for no reason. I like your attempt, but I think you fell a little short. Keep working on this one. There is something here.

The divisions represent the mental progression of someone dealing with a breakup.

It was crude and I liked it... Not really sure why.
If my mother heard it she'd cringe and say it was disgusting. If I said it to most of the people I know there'd be an awkward silence... If not a "That's so true" from some of them... But I love its crudeness, and I saw its point.
Oh the trees!
Take me back to London please!!!
