Tact

Masking an obvious truth,
at least for those with thought.
A statement meant to prove a point,
or just a moment’s taunt.
Sarcasm.

Shaking certainties erratic,
or simply feeding doubt.
A question without an answer,
do I have to show about?
Rhetorical.

This may be vague to you.
What am I trying to say?
Yes, that’s the query I must answer,
every notion we convey.
Opinion.

Words can fly too freely,
maybe well too much.
This is just a reminder,
of the feelings we might touch.
Tact.

I really like this, having been on the recieving end of some very untactful remarks. Just to be nitpicky though, well because I'm me,

Maybe it's obvious the meaning of this and I'm just being dense, but I'm not completely understanding it.

It really is great, though, well done.

This maybe vague to you. I think may be is more appropriate.. however, it's your call

I like the style and structure used, but they may be a little too direct. None the less, this is a pretty good entry. I suggest you explore stretching the boundaries of using this style, you might enjoy it.

Big_Cheesy_Grin: I think i owe it to you to do some explaining..

A question without an answer,
do I have to show about?
Rhetorical.

Those lines have sort of a dual meaning. "Do I have to show about" [i just tweaked it to make it rhyme] is simply a rhetorical question itself, saying the rest should be self explanatory. I could have said "Do i have to explain?", but again I had to be creative. :D Get it? :D

Hope that helped...

Tyler: thanks! I wasn't sure between "maybe" and "may be", but yah.. The latter one sounds more correct. I"ll change it. :D

The show about lines confused me as well but after your explanation I got your point. Great wordplay. This is your my favorite work of yours so far. Brilliant, brilliant.
