Content with His Mediocre Life
Content with my mediocre life
The day flew past my reality
Into the great expanse that is
A dream.
And it is within
This sphere of unreality
In which all my great
Returns to thinking
Occur naturally in your
Surroundings.
There seems to be a
Common thread among those
Who pose
Questions about the
Cosmic meaning of their
Day, when really all they want
Is connection.
To be part of the expanse,
To be a river in an ocean,
A laugh inside a tear.
To be content is to be
Static, or is it
More along the lines of being
Happy?
And the world is spinning
With your consent, or
Without you at all.
Our purpose
Is to discover
Our purpose.
So I am content
With my mediocre life,
Not understanding
Why anything is as it is.
