Mysterious Door

A dream
of a hallway
beautiful white walls
a door at the end
I walk to it
and turn the knob
I walk in
and shut the door
everything is black
in the empty room
except for a spot of light
on the floor
I walk through the light
to the other end of the room
I hear a sound
I turn around
a rose is on the floor


Ok, this was like a vision that came to me when I walked into my bedroom the other day. It wasn't a daydream cuz I wasn't really thinking of anything at the time. It just came into my head it was really weird. But I thought it looked cool so I wrote it down as a poem. Tada!

dreams are so cool....I don't think that I've seen any dreamish visionish poems on this site before, which makes this particularly cool, and the ending be good. I'd type more, especially since this is the awesomeestcoaster keyboard ever, but a walrus is gnawing on my leg and must be attended to, so ta!

It seems really random.. Sort of like a dream!

I like how it sort-of-almost rhymes but not quite. And the rose... in a dark room... that's a cool image. Nice.

I love the ending. Its flows really smoothly and leaves no explanation... that can be a perfect way to end.
