School Again

Did your home work, again,
Read your school books, again,
Did detention for not signing my diary, again.

And I'm late, again,
So I wait, again,
For the teachers to let me go home, again.

Now I say never, again,
No not ever, again,
I'm not walking back through those school gates, again.

No more homework, again,
No more school books, again,
No detention, not ever, again.

Once again, comment please!

have a lovely day,

To see a world in a grain of sand and a heaven in a wild flower,
hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour. – William Blake

I was lying in bed, watching the stars and i thought, 'where the hell is the ceiling?'

There could have been more to this poem but here's my review:

You repeated again too often so it was a little boring. It was an OK-ish poem but the again thing was bothering me.

"Did your home work, again,
Read your school books, again"
shouldn't it be "Did my homework again, Read my school books, again".

I liked the third part Now I say never, again,
No not ever, again,
I'm not walking back through those school gates, again.
In all the time we have
There is never enough time
To show what is in our heart.

Yeah, Noxious is right. Too many AGAINS
I think if you took off AGAIN at the end of all the lines and did one huge AGAIN !!! Then it might havce somewhat more of a tired and angered and bored expression.

I've very thoughtful when I'm bored.... I'm also in school right now...

I don't think it was one of these great fabulous poems, but I kind of got the message of it.
Nice job otherwise... better than anything I've written in a while...

Yes, its a good poem but I have to agree with Rose here. There are waaaayyyy too many agains. It got really annoying and repetetive. Maybe if you only put them at the end of each stanza, or even less. Otherwise it was very good!

i actually found the constant repition of "again" quite soothing..it's a very simple, but it's pretty much how i feel today so that made me like it.
"And Matt Muir. Matt Muir, he's the sweetest guy. Have you ever looked into his eyes? It's like the first time I heard the Beatles" Superbad

i wrote this in school, towards the end of the school year and it was like, everything the teachers asked me to do, I'd done a thousand times already, therefore everything I'm doing, it feels like, 'oh my gosh, not again'.

and i put 'your homework' because it is meant to be talking to those stupid teachers who were making me do all this stuff AGAIN. but i see what you mean.

thanks
have a absolutely fabulous day

I have to ask. Does every question or statement regarding the quote generator end up in the quote generator?
