Every word he writes,
Pulsates with life;
Every line on paper,
A grand masterpiece.

Dramatic,
Tear-jerking, gut-wrenching
Monologues tie heartstrings,
Emotions ensnare your soul;
Words captivate you.

Comic indeed,
Overwhelming joy,
Foolish joy;
Mere words capture smiles
And inject it into our systems.

Tragic though;
His words breathe,
His lines dance across minds,
Flirt and whisper to hearts
And love.
They live.

But who lived to write these words?

The writer.

Who?

The writer.

Who?

Ooh, nice. Pretty cool poem, and mysterious too. I don't if you were aiming for that too but I thought it was. Okay, first things first. The word usage. Awesome descriptive and vivid words. For example:

Every word he writes, <---- This is where I thought it was mysterious
Pulsates with life; <----- That word brings life into this stance.
Every line on paper,
A grand masterpiece. <----- Now that really catched my attention.

And:

Dramatic,
Tear-jerking, gut-wrenching
<----- Cool word choices
Monologues tie heartstrings,
Emotions ensnare your soul; <----- There's something about that in the middle that really
Words captivate you.
catches your attention.

Those were some of the things at the beginning that I really liked. Then, of course, at the end. Wow, that was an awesome ending. I thought it was sort of like a cliffhanger asking a question yet more mysterious. It got me thinking too. :P Nice job on this poem. Oh, I forgot to mention, the title is cool too. :wink:

Peanut here to review!

Ooh, I like how this poem ends... it has a nice flow, and good creativity. Nice :D

Emotions ensnare your soul;
Words captivate you.

Yes, they do! :D

Flirt and whisper to hearts
And love.
They live.

The 'they live' part sort of messes with the fluency...

But who lived to write these words?

Questions aren't normally a great way to go, but in this case, it leads up to your awesome ending, so it's okay :D

Nice work! I love how descriptive you were... basically just minor fix-ups. Again, great job! :D

Thanks to those who reviewed. This is a different for me I hardly write free verse and I'm rather apprehensive about it. Anyone else care to help with this piece?

First of all, I have no nitpicks~! No, seriously. I have none. I just want you to know I loved this stanza:

Dramatic,

Tear-jerking, gut-wrenching

Monologues tie heartstrings,

Emotions ensnare your soul;

Words captivate you.

And you're from the Philippines? Noypi din ako, pare. (I'm also a Filipino). I'm pleased to meet you!

Soooo there. I'll make a complete review about this as soon as I can. I'm just really tired right now... :roll:
