Poem #13

Stop toying with me, you have to stop
I'm not sure how much more I can take.
Can't you just break my heart
for mine and everyone else's sake?

How is it easier to break me
the way you have and in the future, will?
Why do you take pleasure
in watching me cry until I'm still?

Your sick, sadistic, you know it.
The trickery will have to end.
Or I will be the one in white garb
and the angels I shall send.
Got YWS?

You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.

Poem #14

Death of a Friend

My mind races as I see you there
lying hurt and broken.
Your wound is far too deep, you see
but those thoughts are all unspoken.

I know your heartbeats are numbered
since you stand their gasping with blood.
There's nothing to do, I feel more than helpless
as I watch your dying breaths.

Please don't go, I beg of you;
there's too many things we never got to do.
How can you break our love
by doing this to me?

"No, you can't leave me!" I cried out into the night,
but nobody heard me, except her silent light.
Got YWS?

You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.

Poem #15

Our first meeting was not so grand
as I reached out to touch your hand
and found you pulled away.
That hurts me every day.

Your refusal, denial left me heartbroken
with all those silent thoughts
that were so left unspoken.

Never a sorry, an apology or woe
Never doubt or a feeling so low.
Got YWS?

You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.

Poem #16

A Vampire's Allure

Can you quench the thirst for me
when I hunger for your blood?
You don't need to tell me,
because I already know the answer.
You would shudder and refuse to help;
you don't understand the need in me.

What if I said I was dying,
and you were my only hope?
Then would you care to see
the desperate need in me?

I'm no monster, simply misunderstood,
so I won't blame you, you did all you could.
So when you gave your life up to Death Sea
was it because you realized the need in me?
Got YWS?

You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.

Poem #17

In my dreams I'll find you,
I'll hunt you down, you'll see
For the terrors you face now
Are nothing to what lies before you.

You're remarks did hurt,
so you shall pay
as I dance around your pyre.

You'll suffer and burn,
I'll see to that
I'll break your heart,
more than torn.
Got YWS?

You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.

Poem #18

Why must you twist my words
and make it so
I will never let you go?

I might be lying to myself
but something tells me its true
that feeling inside
that I have for you.

"No!" I cried. "You are not the one!"
But my words were lost
where love has gone.
Got YWS?

You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.

I met you with a care-free smile
and kind words brought us together.
I saw love kindle behind your fiery eyes
knowing the road we would endeavor.

Your heart grows larger
as the days grow longer
and I feed wood to your fire.
Got YWS?

You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.

Poem #20

I'm suffocating in the loneliness
that you have placed upon me,
and I'm drowning in aimlessness,
where I don't know my destination.

Time seems to slow,
while my mind races.
Your words are aflow
with bodiless traces.

Heart beats stand true
my feelings, even stronger,
and my charming love for you
without a heart, will be longer.

Time seems to slow,
while my mind races.
Your words are aflow
with bodiless traces.

Days steadily depart
and we are withering, gray.
Our bodies fall apart
but our love, oh that will stay.
Got YWS?

You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.

Poem #21

What is this thing called love, and what am I supposed to do with it?
Am I supposed to hold it, know it, share it?

Now I'm confused, because I know what you did with it.
You threw it, abused it, thrashed, crashed,
until there was none left.

So what is this love you speak of, and what am I to do with it?
Got YWS?

You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.

Poem #22

My mind is made up, cannot be swayed,
so cease your cries,
because I'll say my goodbyes.

A heart was broken, it's in repair,
I'm far from mended,
but it will be getting there.

I'm so young, I have my life,
choices can be made later,
I don't want to suffer through strife.

Words so sweet take away from grief
but I can't stay,
so here's my handkerchief.
Got YWS?

You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.

Heya Selene! How you doing, dear?
I must say, you have some lovely poems here! Absolutely adored them.
Now, nit-pick:

My mind is made up, cannot be swayed,
so cease your cries,
because I'll say my goodbyes.

I think the 'because' in unnecessary. It would sound better without it, but the flow wold be sketchy.

A heart was broken, it's in repair,
I'm far from mended,
but it will be getting there.

The last line doesn't sound right. Maybe try something like: 'but I'll get there'. Because on the previous line you use the subject 'I', so you shouldn't put it. Again, the flow would be sketchy.

And that's all I got! :)
Nice work.

Poem #22

Hearts Matter

Hearts beat a certain rhythm,
one that you can't hear.
You don't need to listen,
it's a feeling, my dear.

Why must you be so reluctant
to believe what is true,
when my heart beats faster and faster
racing towards you?

I cry into your arms,
yet you're still as stone.
It breaks my heart
to know no one is home.

My rush of adrenaline
took me too far,
as I flew to your lips
I committed sin.

I couldn't bear that refusal
for the love I needed;
your rules were set down,
but were not what I heeded.

Hearts break a certain way,
they don't fracture, but shatter
into a million glass pieces,
yet that was never what mattered.

Poem #23

Catch Me

The voice guides me to you,
and into your tight embrace.
Hands steady me
when I'm about to fall,
so please catch me.
Whatever you do
don't let me fall.

Your whispers of promises
take my breath away.
Your lips on mine
leave me with nothing to say,
because your eyes say it all.

When I stumble, you catch me.
When I lose my way, be there for me.
But when I fell, I hit hard
on the wooden floor.
My world is blackening, leaving,
all because you never caught me.
Got YWS?

You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.

Poem #24

Spring

I was swept away by cherry blossoms today,
and rode upon the wind's breath.
The sweetest smell caught me in its wake.
I wanted so badly for it to stay,
but alas, it could not, for its time to go
and so heat pulled my sweet cherry blossoms away.
Got YWS?

You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.

Poem #25

Kind is your heart.
Soft are your words.
Love is your soul.

How is this proven?

Your deeds and the-
Deeds and the-

Action.
Got YWS?

You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.
