You've always been hearing voices in your head. They've been there ever since you were born. But the other people don't understand. They think you're a freak, crazy, cuckoo, a loose screw, a weirdo, or whatever names they can make up. The voice was all you had. The voice nurtured you, helped you grow up. And then, it revealed its name. Surprise.

Your Voice is a famous figure from history, dead and gone. He or she has changed the world to what you know it as today. The Voice has thought of you as a special person, and has asked you for help. A mysterious entity known as The Shade King has been stealing souls from the afterlife, devouring them to increase its own power. Eventually, it will be strong enough to take over the world. You are the one the Voice has chosen. You must find others who have their own Voice, and take down the Shade King. One problem: They could be halfway around the world, for all you know.

A possible solution: Your Voice has imbued within you a superpower, in accordance with their own talents while they were still alive. This transfer of abilities is very experimental, and it has never been attempted before. You must be very careful with your power. Overusing it might blow you up.

-Killing is allowed, but only with permission from both parties

Personality: Cathy is jaded and cynical, never missing the chance to crack a sarcastic joke at those who annoy her. She isn't afraid to stand up for herself, but she hesitates to do so for others. Occasionally, she can become slightly emotional, if she's very tired. She usually hates herself if someone else is around her while she does so.

Voice: Niccolo Machiavelli
Power: She is ruthless, to the point where she can switch off her emotions while during a fight.

Other: She practices MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). Up for love.

Age: 18

Personality: The type of guy your mother always told you to stay away from. Immature, rebellious, violent but downright charming. He's stubborn, twisted, sadistic and has a tainted sense of humour. Unreallistically smooth.

Power: Charm. He can charm you into thinking that the sky is actually made of cheese and that clothes are illegal. He will all but dazzle you.

Name: Mallory Bennington

Age: 16

Appearance: Curly brown hair, light brown skin, and blue eyes. (She's African American though her mother is white and has blue eyes. Yes, its possible.) Tall and thin. Dresses casually and couldn't care less about fashion.

Personality: Strong yet quiet. Not extremely talkative but will defend herself any time. She is a natural leader and very brave. Won't let anyone take her down. This equates to some stubborness especially since she's a teen.^^ The only time when she'll be loud is if she wants to be in control. Which is often. Under stress, she is calm and does very well. Smart.

Voice: Joan of Arc (who else?)

Power: Bravery. Literally nothing can stand in her way. This can obviously double as a weakness^^

Other: Up for love.

You can have something that is considered a talent in this real world (playing an instrument, athletic, etcetera) and turn it into a superpower (make people fall asleep after listening to your music, can run at super-speed, etcetera). Sorry I didn't make that clearer.

NAME: Julia Richards

GENDER: Female

AGE: 15

VOICE: Queen Mary the First (Bloody Mary of Scots.)

APPEARANCE: She has long red hair and green eyes, a pale complexion and a tall, lithe build. She has defined, elegant features and wears athletic shorts, tennis shoes, and tank tops most often.

PERSONALITY: Like her voice, she is stubborn, defiant and ruthless. She is overall a nice person but her temper is short and she lashes out at the most unexpected times. She is fiery and fierce, defensive and enduring. Her voice isn't all that great, but it gives her tips and the most unexpected advise that usually is helpful. It doesn't lie and Julia has learned to listen to it.

HISTORY: She escaped the mental institution that she was in with help from Queen Mary. She has been told that there are others like her and has been searching for them hard and long.

POWER: She can make illusions of your worst fear, drive you insane and cause you physical pain and anguish just by meeting eyes with you for a second.

OTHER: Up for love.

Name: Alex "X" Maro
Age: 15
Appearance: He has medium length brown hair, pale blue eyes that seem to have to much knowledge for his age. He is tall with a slight muscle tone on him, with tanned skin.

Personality: A wild card and a daredevil. He is willing to do anything, anytime, anywhere, if he is challenged. He knows how to do every type of extreme sport as a result of this trait. He also loves to joke, is oddly calm and happy most of the time. Though if you are on his bad side you will know.

Voice: Leonardo Da Vinci
Power: He is very intelligent, to the point of super. He can turn scrap metal into just about anything (with in reason of course. Also speaks fluent Italian.

Other: Up for love.

Ooh, this looks interesting! Out of curiosity - would I be allowed to have two characters? I'm considering making a second later on. Also, could the "famous" voice be bad? Like...well, I'll just put my profile and you tell me. xD

Name: Jason Kivett

Age: 21

Brown hair, great smile, very business-y.

Personality: Jason is pretty high-up, for a 21 year old. He's got a job many would kill for with the economy how it's been - nearly the head of a huge business. He's not usually too cocky, but sometimes he can't help it. He's good with people.

Voice: Adolph Hitler

Power: Very manipulative - good at taking ideas and convincing others that they're the best idea, whether they really are or not.

Other: Along with that "power", Jason sometimes feels the hatred Hitler felt toward certain groups of people - however, for the most part he manages to keep it in check.

Two characters would be fine. Just try to stay with only two. And it doesn't matter if the Voice is good or bad, if they have changed the world or views of the world, then they can be anyone. Oh, and we have a Discussion Thread.
