This takes place in New york city. You have seen the world go to crap and you want to do something about it. So you and your friends become costumed Vigilantes.

~character can't be god like. In fact they can't have powers they will fight with guns and other modern weapons. Including transportation devices such as the owl ship, or bat mobile.

Hero name - Requiem, although his enemies sometimes call him Bird-face

Appearance - He is average height, and the kind of person you'd miss in a crowd. Straight black hair, dull blue eyes, no noticeable changes to his facial features. The only distinctive thing about his appearance is his walking stick, and a slight limp. He works as a bacteriologist.
Costume - His costume resembles that of a plague doctor - a mask with a long beak which hides his entire face, a wide brimmed hat, black gloves, and a black, hooded trench-coat that he keeps buttoned up. When in costume, he never limps. It's a little like the guy in the background of this.
Fighting style and weapons - He employs a fighting style similar to kendo, and is capable of improvising (not to the extent of Rorschach, but he can do it). He prefers his steel-tipped cane as a weapon, but he also carries a satchel of vials which hold bacteria capable of inducing tetanus or typhoid. He rarely uses either of these, but uses the threat of them to induce fear.
History / Reason for becoming a vigilante - As a teenager, he was a very friendly kid. However, when a girl in his year was raped and murdered, much of that friendliness went out of him. When he discovered the identity of the culprit, and that there had apparently not been enough evidence to convict him, he went after the man on his own, breaking into his house and killing him in his sleep. By the time he was done, he had become convinced that there was a basic sickness in society, and that the law was too light on criminals. For a few years, he preyed on solitary muggers, until he had developed the strength and skill to fight more than one of them at once. He became a costumed vigilante at the age of twenty four, once he’d started work as a bacteriologist.
Personality - In the real world, he is a serious, hardworking man who dedicates his time to developing cures for a variety of bacterial diseases. He has little time for other people. With his mask on, he becomes even more serious. He is not a moral absolutist, in many cases he will be content with breaking a few bones and leaving the crook outside a police station. Sometimes, though, he'll give them his own incurable brand of tetanus or typhoid before leaving them to rot.

Fighting style: Ringo doesn't tend to fight. He'd rather charm the coldest villain up and wrap them around his little finger to do his ever order. However, if fighting does become mandatory, he prefers to let loose a few kick boxing moves and enjoy the noise of breaking bones.

Weapon of choice: Snake poison coated sharp items, (darts, knives, swords . . anything with a sharp edge, you name it)

History/ Reason for becoming a vigilante: Charming normal people lost its amusement.

Personality: The type of guy your mother always told you to stay away from. Immature, rebellious, violent but downright charming. He's stubborn, twisted, sadistic and has a tainted sense of humour. Unreallistically smooth.

Fighting style and weapons- Capoeira which is a series of flexible tumbles and cartwheels coupled with kicks and elbow blows. Limited taekwondo Has throwing daggers. Shares the black knight with her brother a black ship that they travel in.
History/ Reason for becoming a vigilante- Their father was part of a group of vigilantes and wanted them to get into the family business.
Personality- In and out of costume she is reserved and quite. Says very little.

Appearance-He is tall and and muscular from all his heavy lifting. He has brown hair stained with grease most of the time, and has blue eyes. He has two costumes to use. He usually is in a robotic suit like the iron man one but larger with a shape of a more muscular person, it is blue and white. When he can not be in the suit though he wears a light weight metal full body suit that is blue and white colored, and a mask with a a mask with lightning like patterns.
Fighting style and weapons- His suit has an arsenal of explosives, and laser, along with other gadgets that double as attacks. But when not in his suit he can fight with a knowledge of kick boxing, and his electrical manipulation powers.
History/ Reason for becoming a vigilante- He always was considered a geek in school, and a weakling, always being beat up. But one day his best friend was getting beat on hard, so he helped out and was able to get the bullies to stop. When he did he felt good and eventually became protective and looked for ways to save people. When he discovered his powers he was able to help, and so he built his suits and decided to help the world, anyway he could.
Personality- He is a bit of a wild card, loves to joke around. He is impulsive because of his great sense of justice he will rush into a fight is it means helping. He is very caring and hopeful as well, he never gives up hope or a good challenge.

Appearance/ Costume: Wears a tight black spandex suit with a silver line going from the waist down to her black flexible boots. In her normal wear she comes off as a lean girl who used to wear glasses but now wears contacts. Her eyes are light green with a slight twist of brown.

Fighting style and weapons: She is very flexible and moves like a cat, she can predict people's moves to an extent. She loves the rush of a battle, also loves things that go "boom". She knows an extent of Karate.

History/ Reason for becoming a vigilante: She graduated high school early because she was a young genius ( she graduated at 16) and has a degree in psychology from Harvard. She hated the fact that people that could be helped went to jail and the others just kept on going.

Personality : Very talkative and comes off as "slow" but suprises people with her knowledge.

Appearance - She has shoulder length, thick, layered, light red/blonde hair, ocean blue, penetrating, deep coloured eyes, and a small unnoticeable, lithe but strong build. She doesn't look very significant but wait and see.

Costume - Her costume is a short black pea coat and black leggings with a black homburg, and black flats. She carries around a small messenger bag on her shoulder. She goes around completely unnoticed and shadowed. Also an assortment of random jewellry. Her entire costume shimmers subtly and has the discreet insignia of Maelstrom which I will describe later. Her trademark is a blue tinge that she leaves wherever she has fought and succeeded.
Fighting style and weapons - Though her costume may look normal, she manages to hide many different deadly weapons in it. Her homburg flattens into a razor edged shield, bracelets into ninja stars and many other variations of concealed/disguised weapons. She's very good at controlling all of them. She also has the tiny build that can sneak around unnoticed until the very last moment when it's too late. She carries around her messenger bag always and therefore is never unarmed. She also can use household items to fight off enemies.
History / Reason for becoming a vigilante - Will reveal throughout the story. But what I will say, is that she has been through child abuse and neglect and seen her mother driven insane.
Personality - She is defiant and stubborn and won't do anything unless she sees a good reason to do it. She is strong, bold and maybe too daring. A trait that very much could be the death of her. She is good at masking her feelings and while she is sweet and loyal to her friends (she is very careful about who to trust) she is completely reckless while fighting enemies.

Appearance - She has waist length brown hair, her eyes are bright bright blue, she is medium height about 5 foot 7 with a slight muscular tone. He costume is a orange and red spandex with a hood that she tucks her hair into in battle. there is a fire emblem on the front of the costume and her mask is are two fire balls that are more like goggles.

Fighting style and weapons - She uses a combination of tai kwon do, karate, kung fu and kick bowing. she is and expert at explosions and carries many on her.

History / Reason for becoming a vigilante - She has always liked a challenge, always picking fights in school, usually to help. When she graduated she became a cop, but found it to boring so she took to the costumed hero game for more thrill.

Personality - She is spunky and very frank, always not really caring how others feel, and is some what self centered at times. She will only care for someone if they are in danger. She is also very persuasive, usually flirting to get her way.
