Night of the Full Moon

Plot: There are 2 boarding schools, Rowan and Pheonix Academy, and obviously they're rivals. Both are trying to get to "the world beyond the mirrors", from which one can go to any other world in any other universe. While both schools fight to save all worlds, they have different opinions on what way to do so. Pheonix students fight to control all worlds to save them, Rowan students try to fight the evil directly while at the same time preparing all other worlds for the evil. This evil is the Dark Circle, a group that uses dark magic that corrupts all things, and it wants to destroy every living thing in both this world and the next.

Rules:

1. No God-like characters

2. Romance between the students is allowed, but no sex scenes.

3. Limited cussing

4. Must post at least three times a week to stay involved and up to date in events, and at least once a week to preserve spot.

5. You must post at least one paragraph. You will asked to leave if you have short posts. Dialogue is an acception.

6. You may only have one power until notice and you must have a weakness.

There are ten powers you can have, and thirty positions allowed. 10 for the dark circle, 10 for Rowan Academy, and 10 for Pheonix Academy.

Name Hazel Grush

Academy Rowan

Power Fire
Her power is pretty straightforward. She controls fire, as long as the conditions can sustain the fire. For example, she couldn't create a fire in the middle of the ocean, but in a dry place, it would be possible. If the enviroment can't sustain a fire easily, Hazel has to work harder to keep the fire going. If the enviroment can sustain the fire easily, Hazel has to work to keep it under control. Her imagination sparks what she can do with her power, so she doesn't really know all that she can do. Sometimes she can thin of something that she could do with her power, but the amount of energy it takes limits her ability to actually create it.

Weakness Her power only seems to destroy, and Hazel had a great love for everything. She despises destroying things, and is therefore reluctant to use her power.

Personality Hazel is most often level and calm. When severally provoked, she can have a temper that is hard to calm down. She makes friends easily, but is always a little strange. She tends to bring out the best in people.

Academy Dark Circle

Power Spirit
His power affects people's souls. He can compell them to do what he wants them to do. HE can cause them immeasurable amounts of pain if he wishes. His power is difficult to detect, because he can lay a seed of his power within someone's soul, then wait for the perfect oportunity to reveal it. To some extent, he dedicates a part of himself to be the person he wants to control. He can feel their actions inside of them, and he can completely possess them for short periods of time. He doesn't like to do that, though, as it leaves his own self unprotected.

Weakness Alex has to feel like he's got control. He blows his top if he doesn't. He doesn't necessarily have to be at the highest position, but he never accepts being ignored.

Personality clever and calculating. He knows that he is special, and enjoys controlling and having power over other people.

Age: 16

School: Phoenix

Power: Spirit
Details: She can control people spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. She can make people believe that whatever she's saying is right and true. Also, whenever anything that she says is passed on by whoever hears it and believes it, the person that is told believes it too. She can talk to the spirits of those passed on.

Appearance: She one violet eye and one blue eye, light silvery hair, a tall dark stance and a pale complexion. Her eyes are quite imposing and her glare is menacing.

Personality: She is very tough, bold and ambitious. She is also strong. She doesn't abuse her power, it's fallen into the right hands, but she can be very reckless whenever she is fighting someone or something. She is overall a nice, amiable person who is tough to make friends with but keeps bonds loyally and protectively.

Academy: Phoenix
Power: Curse
She can curse people to have certain afflictions by consuming a certain amount of their blood. The more of their blood she drinks, the more powerful her curses become. Her most used one is giving her opponents headaches by drinking a sip of their blood. However, she has gotten to the point where she can wish for a person to rot while they are still alive by consuming so much blood that she nearly passed out.
Weakness: She isn’t a great thinker because she always gets carried away by her emotions. She doesn’t like being restricted, and follows her emotions all the way. And sometimes, when under a lot of pressure, she can become afraid of blood.
Appearance: This
Personality: She is very bright and loves to meet new people. She can be described as eccentric, but headstrong and loyal. When angry, she won’t talk to you for days on end; she can hold grudges for a very long time. However, it is very difficult to get her angry enough and she continues to be a constant annoyance to whoever is stuck with her, especially when she pretends a battle is just a game.

School: Rowan

Power: Ice/Water
She can freeze anything and everything, and is able to control the flow of water. She can pull water out of the ground, make water come from the tips of her fingers, ect. ect. She can undo these things too. Also, she has a mysterious ability that allows her to affect those around her in odd ways.

Weakness: She is shy, yet emotional, and hates using her powers to hurt people. This often puts her in a tight position where she either chooses to lose and die hard, or to hurt the opponent without killing them. She always chooses the latter, if a bit reluctantly.

Appearance: This

Personality: She is loving, kind, and sweet, but serious as well. She is very sociable and has tons of friends, however, she prefers solitude more often then being surrounded by others. This makes her kind of mysterious, and a shoo-in for the boys. She's had 19 boys confess to her in the past year alone!

Gender: Girl

School: Rowan

Power: Earth
Her biggest strength is that she can communicate with plants. She can also communicate with most but not all land animals. She can change and control natal structures like mountains, caverns, caves, and some others.

Weakens: She has a hard time asking for help even though she often needs it. She's also a vary bad lier.

Appearance: This

Personality: Kinda shy but still works well in teams. She's vary understanding of others and is always willing to help.

Name: Sophia Cain

Age: 18

Academy: Dark Circle (even though its not an academy)

Power: Shadow
She can manipulate the shadows and darkness of the world around her. She can pull them together to make them more powerful or disperse them to cover more ground, but have less effect. The control she has can be very dangerous, or completely harmless. Sophia chooses dangerous.

Weakness: Sophia has anger issues. And a need for domination that is hardly ever quenched. She has a short temper and wont accept any position less than the leader. She get's mad very easily and even quicker if her power or control is being questioned.

Appearance: Short choppy blonde hair. amber eyes. pale complexion. short and petite but her presence is imposing. She is very strong for her looks.

Personality: It would be a lie to say that Sophia is kind hearted. She enoys seeing others in pain, other than her closest companions. She is very intuitive and strong. She knows how to be an excellent leader, which helps with her desire to be only that.

don't worry if it's not an academy. I only made that comment before because phantom of the potter put Dark Circle under the heading Academy, and I just wanted to make sure he knew it wasn't an academy. Go right ahead and apply for Dark Circle! Let your evil ambitions be realized!

-can control all shadows and often gets caught up in her power and seems a little coo-coo.

Personality: She is almost always sarcastic and overbearing. when she speaks people find her annoying or rude. However, when she is in a dire situation she's known for literally becoming a different person. She doesn't yell, pout, or come across hostile like usual.

There are 3 shadow positions. One for each academy/group. So basically, your both okay. ^^

I think probably once we fill all of the positions we will start, just a guess though
