Here's a bunch of poems that I've written. Hope you like them!
Dreaming
I stand beside a mountain
The stream beside me pure.
The forests all around me
Silent as I stare,
A ghostly figure not really there,
At the snow that starts to fall.
"Claeren," said I. "Snow white."
And the flakes begin to set.
As I stand there, watching,
The snow falling, fallling,
Waiting for the sun to rise
And take me back to Reality
So that I might smile for a time.
Colorful
My life is a misty forest
With a path winding down,
Doubling back upon itself,
Wandering through the trees.
Going on, ever on, on through the mists of time.
My soul is an ancient willow,
Her branches swaying in the wind,
Her leaves singing to me
As I sleep under its gentle shadow.
Drifting on, ever on, on through the mists of time.
My heart is a hopeful blossom,
Bright and cheerful to all;
It's colors evershifting
As I reach out to touch it.
Winding on, ever on, on through the mists of time.
Going on, ever on, on through the mists of time.
Elf
Winter comes like a soft blanket
Wrapping my world in snow;
Like a fleece it cuddles me
Its silence comforting as I sleep.
Spring comes like the dawn,
Its light shining upon new growth;
I watch it from my window
As the rays brighten the day.
Summer appears like the sun of midday;
Shimmering rays beam down
And I capture their warmth in my skin
As I slip away unseen.
Autumn slips by like the mist in the evening
Whispering in the red-gold of the trees;
Its sighing wind is like music to my ears
As I watch the sunset pass.
And so my time passes forever,
Each season like another day,
As I wander the forests of my home
And live on, the last of my kind.
Thoughtless
I stare up at the sky
Not a thought running through my head
My mind on Cloud 9,
And I whisper:
"What a life!"
Sleeping
Upon the sky, drifting, drifting,
I flutter out of reach.
I nap upon the softest cloud
And sail upon a breeze.
And I wonder at the silence
The peace that it brings,
As I glide upon the sky
Floating out of reach.
Thinking Spell
Go to somewhere quiet,
Sit upon a chair,
Stare up at the ceiling,
And say:
"I wonder..."
Sorry about the number of poems, I just don't have very many points and most of these were pretty small, soooo... yeah. You get my point.
Thanks for reading and see ya on the site! ^^
