Name: Julie
Age: 16
Academy: Mirage
Position: Commander
Abilities/Strengths: Fire Manipulation
Weaknesses: Can lose control of her powers when angry
Appearance: Brunette shoulder lenght long hair, 5'3, && piercing blue eyes
Personality: A good leader, funny, nice, && bubbly but can have a temper
Since no one else wanted to be a boy, I've decided to fill in the last character so we can start.
Name: Kaleb
Age: 17
Academy: Rave
Position: Commander
Abilities/Strengths: Curse Manipulation; can also make illusions
Weaknesses: His friends/loved ones in danger, betrayal.
Appearance: <--- Like this guy except with pale, blond hair, ice blue eyes, and a serious/solemn expression.
Personality: Kaleb seems rude and blunt when you first meet him, but that’s only because he’s straightforward. When you really get to know him you’ll find that he cares more about people than you think, he just doesn’t show it. He’s usually by himself thinking and often goes off on his own to keep his friends from danger. He is a terse person, meaning he only speaks when necessary and answers with few words. His expression is usually deep in thought, solemn, and lost. He's usually in another world of his own except when he's with Aerith.

Setting: Illusion Square (the meeting place for Mirage and Rave Academy student events)
School: The academies are set in a extremely large, eletric fenced area. The academies are located in the very center surrounded by 2 forests, the western forest and the eastern forest. The Mirage Academy is on the left side and the Rave Academy is on the right while the general education building, which all attend, is in the middle. The Rave and Mirage buildings are for the different houses of the main school, which is where all the students take their specialty and elective classes as well as lunch. Main classes like english, math, science, and history are all taken in the main building so the students are familiar with both houses.
Dormatories: Students bunk one to a room in their dormatories directly north of their academy building
Headquarters: mirage academy and rave academy both have separate HQ's in the forests. The Mirage Academy HQ is in the western forest while the Rave Academy HQ is in the eastern forest.
Note: all of the council members of Rave Academy have met in Illusion square and are listening to the president of their schools (one person, male) giving them their mission/challenge.
the beginning "Welcome students of both Mirage and Rave Academy to Illusion Square for our yearly challenge." President Quartz announced, his husky voice booming through the loudspeakers. It was once again time for the Dream Academies to have their annual challenge with one another, an event only the top five students of each house may enter. Both the Mirage Academy and the Rave Academy were owned by famous business owner of Quartz.
"I proud to announce that this years Dream Catching Challenge is once again into play," President Quarts continued. "Your goal is to work as a team to obtain dream power in order to power your academies. What kind of dreams and how you obtain them is of no matter, but there are some rules that come with this challenge. You put anyone to death during this challenge, you are not to destroy any buildings or houses, and you may not let any humans see your powers or capture your identity. Any breaking of the rules will result in immediate loss of points or temporary suspension. The challenge has no time limit until further notice. The point system is as follows: points will be given depending on the power of the dream. You will each be given a Dream Holder to store dreams. After your missions you will empty your dream holders into the Dream Converter in your headquarters and points will be given to your point system. Be warned that until the dreams are deposited into the Dream Converter, they are still in the game. All positions of each house have already been filled in advance. Your first mission will be this evening at midnight. You are free to go to your headquarters and meet with your teammates until then." The President finished his last sentence before walking off the stage. The second he exited the stage the lights in the square shut off, leaving the students in the mid-afternoon sun. Dusk was coming and the shadows of the buildings were growing longer.
The Challenge Was Soon to Begin...

"Commander!"I cried as I ran through the entrance of the Mirage HQ in the Western Forest. I had fallen behind the others and was struggling to keep up. The Mirage HQ was a large, silver dome that reflected the outside world. The Mirage HQ came came with a built in observatory that looked to the sky, an illusional shield, security system, a meeting room, and many other handy things.
"What is it, Aerith?!" Julie replied in an irritated tone.
Oh great. Here comes Julie's bad temper! I thought to myself, rolling my eyes.
"Why are you in such a bad mood, commander?" Jay asked as he took his seat in one of the meeting room's sphere chairs that hung from the ceiling. "Shouldn't you be happy that we're, starting this new challenge? You wanted a chance to show Rave what you can really do and this is it!" Jay pulled out a elastic band and tied his brown hair into a ponytail. The rest of us took our seats in the meeting room; my spot was on the right hand side of the commander since I had the Officer position.
The commander's piercing blue eyes wandered the perimeters of the room before she looked us all in they eye. "To be honest I'm a little scared."
We all blinked a few times, confused with her reason. The commander was supposed to fearless. Nothing ever scared Julie. How could she have been scared of a new mission, especially one we had been training for our whole lives?!
"What's there to be scared about?" I asked her. My charcoal colored eyes reflected in her blue ones. My smile had fallen.

Rave HQ Description: In Eastern forest. Is a tall, completely tinted, shiny black building. It has an observatory, a lockdown defense system, a security system, a meeting room(sanctum), a training room and many other things.
"So what are the orders today, commander?" I asked as I walked over to the display screen. I traced my finger along the stars that were shown on the screen. All of the Rave members had met up in the sanctum/observatory room and were waiting for orders.
Commander Kaleb walked into the room, a solemn expression playing on his face.
What is he thinking? I wondered. He's always deep in thought, and always far away... The commander continued to stare with a serious expression until he finally spoke.
"There are no orders except to prepare yourselves for tonight. Sharpen your skills and enhance your senses. This challenge is not a game." Kaleb said in a firm tone. Clearly something was eating his thoughts, but what?
"I thought we don't need to stress!" Johanna complained as she plopped herself down onto the white, leather couch. She stretched her arms out to the sky before crossing her legs up onto the couch. "This challenge will be easy to win, just like last year."
"Do not underestimate them." Kaleb said plainly before heading toward the exit. His crew watched in shock as he walked away. Before he made it to the doorway, he turned around. "Mirage will not be a piece of cake to beat like last year. They have an almost entirely different crew from last year with and not to mention a dream manipulator as well."
All the others dropped their jaws the second they heard Mirage had a dream manipulator. Since I had the dream manipulation power, I was Rave's most prized possession.
"That can't be true!" Johanna cried as she leapt off the sofa and ran to me. Johanna was my closest friend and Rave had been my friend since the first day I came to the academy. Johanna locked her sky blue eyes on mine and held me down against the wall.
"Who is this new member?!" Johanna demanded as she pounded me back and forth against the wall. Johanna had anger issues and was having one of her daily fits. I opened my mouth to answer, but my voice was replaced my the one of the commander.
"Her name is Aerith. She's Kaida's sister." The commander said before exiting the room. Johanna stopped pounding me against the wall and stepped back, her eyes frightened.
"What?" I asked.
"Our new competitor is your sister?" Charlotte demanded an answer. "Give us the details!"
I let out a sigh and began telling them about Aerith.
"Aerith is my younger sister and she's also a dream manipulator." I explained. All of their eyes were staring at my face like hungry animals. "But our powers are different. I can make create nightmares whether the person is awake or not, control the nightmares in people's minds, and can only steal nightmares. Aerith is different. She's the light to my dark. She can soothe dreams and transform or change the dream into anything. She can also take dreams into her possession, transform them, and give dreams to people. I can never return what I steal nor can I alter a dream when it's not in the mind of the beholder..." I let out another sigh as I finished my explanation.
"That is some kick-ass power." Charlotte blurted out. Everyone turned to face her and she covered her mouth.
"Well what is her weakness?" Sicily asked, ignoring Charlotte's last comment.
"Her powers are hard to control and focus. Her problem is she has too much power that it's hard to control." I replied as I stared at the observatory screen. "She also doesn't know how to use her powers on people who are awake yet. But other than that, she is an ultimate weapon. Her powers could probably wipe me out if she was trained."
"So she's unsteady?" Johanna asked with an mischievous smirk growing on her face. "I can work with that."

I stared at the announcer gauging every word he was saying and watching every twicth of his face. After he had finished I crept away from the others hoping to make it back to base without seeing anyone.
As was, fate was against me and I immediately walked straight into someone else of my team. Staring at them and trying to walk past them, around them or impossibly, but without consideration through them, I cleared my throat, "Excuse you."
The person's eyebrows furrowed into one line as their hand whipped around to grab my coat. Instantly I let burst some of my air manipulation, drawing in a sharp breath and blowing away the reaching hand.
As the hand fell our eyes met. The look in them wasn't one I would call happy. Keeping our eyes in contact I tilted my head, raised a hand to my mouth and yawned. A growl emanated from the person and I crept back, a precaution.
Being this person's enemy while I was meant to be on their team was bad. So, I proffered a hand, "Ringo Tori, you?"
The person stared at my hand for a second before shaking it, "I'm . . ."
The thing went on and on, I hated this type of thing. The competition, the brutality it was just unneeded in my life. I hated the president, I hated this whole stupid contest and I was the spy. Atleast i was good at it. Everyone was taller than me so I could barely see anything.Oh did I mention yet? I'm on my period so I felt all kind and sugary on the inside, like I might rip my heart out in sheer joy and rainbows. Finally the lecture was over and I headed out, a random girl ran into me and boy was I pissed, I raised my had to slap her and she blew me off, literally.
"Ringo Tori, you?" he offered his hand to me tilting his head down.
"I'm so sorry.." I started, "I'm not usually like this"
"It's ok." he said solemnly
"May Taylor, pleasure ta meet you team mate" I took his hand and shook it looking up

"Commander!" I said. "What are we supposed to do with this?" I held up a small piece of paper that I had found in Illusion square. It was just lying down there on the ground when I saw it. Folded up, it looked pretty strange, as if someone was supposed to pick it up. When I unfolded it, it seemed to be a map, though I don't know of what. There was nothing familiar there.
"What is that?" Julie asked, turning away from her current conversation. I shrugged and showed her the map.
"Some sort of map, though it isn't one of any of the forests, not of our HQ, the school, or the dorms. I have no idea what it's for, though there is a message on the back."
"What message?" She turned over the paper. It was blank. I frowned.
"There was writing when I saw it earlier," I mumbled. "Strange... There was something about a Dream Dweller or something like that. I didn't get a good look at it. " I shrugged apologetically. "The note looked pretty old, so I'm not sure that it's much. I've never heard of a Dream Dweller before. Have you?"
There once was a cat. He wasn’t particularly fat. Fuzzy was his favorite mat. And really, that was that.
Oh, but did you really think so? Keep reading, it’s just the start of the show! And as for how far this tale will go… Well, even the cat doesn’t know.
I slid my hand back into my pocket, consciously wiping it on the rim, her hand was cold and slightly sweaty, as if she had been nervous or anxious for the meeting to be over.
"Yeah, you're on my team, huh?" I asked. I would've been lying if I had said it was nice to meet her as well. I would've rathered not meet anyone. Changing the subject was my best bet on not letting her realise the insult I dealt her.
After a second I realised that I was staring down at her, and the fact that she was wearing a loosely clad singlet was irrtating, I could all but see straight down her shirt. A gust of wind blew up and her brunette hiar flickered.
I subconsciously made a air deflect shield so none of it would touch me, if her hands had been so cold, god only knows what her hair would feel like. I planted a smile on my face and I knew she could tell it was forced.
"So, you heading to base?" I pondered out loud. Her reply was instant, a flurry of words barely comprehensible masked by irritation of the day.
"Sure, let's go. I don't wanna wait." Then she started to walk.
I stared at her back receeding from my view. Silently I pondered if I could just let her walk off and find another to back. With my hand around chin, thumb pressed a bit in to my neck and my aother arm holding it up I imagined I looked like Sherlock Holmes when he was on the case.
Letting out a sigh I dropped my arms and began to follow. I caught up quickly and I reasoned that her being so short made her take small steps while I being tall took big ones.
I stared at her for a second, then put forth a way to the start of what could've been a pleasant conversation, "So, what's your power?"
She then proceeded to show me exactly what her power was. Literally, she mangled my shadow, "That is my power."
"I see." A fearsome power that. Probably a very difficult one to control as well. I let out a sigh, which gathered speed and power and a cloud brushed by overhead creating a larger shadow to encompass mine..
"I can just guess what your power is." was her reply, still watching the ashes kindle.
"Ahh, well, I keep it no secret. Not much use in doing that, is there? We all fight each other or watch each other fight in the end." MY voice for some reason had grown taunt. An unknown emotion gripped me.
And escaped through my mouth, "It's not like we won't know. There are spies aren't there? So they would know as well."
Anger, I was angry, but I didn't know why. No, I knew why and something about this girl made me want to tell her. I let my face stay blank and I stared forwards imprisoning any thoughts that wanted to escape.
An awkward silence ensued. And then just as it happened before, soemone ran into us. Literally baraging us out of the way. God, fate was definitely against me today. . .
I latched onto the persons shirt and swung them around, "A little courtesy, please!"
May nodded her agreement and I watched as my shadow stirred.
"I can work with that", I said after letting go of Kaida. "Oh sorry Kaida. I really need to get hand of this rage", I said more to myself than anyone in particular.
I wonder if she's alike Kaida...
Kaleb had left already. he was cool, but such a loner. I would like to interact more with him, to know who's commanding us...

*sorry it's short but I got to run*
Piglet: How do you spell love? Pooh: You don't spell it. You feel it.
I looked at the group of teen in front of me and sighed.
They all relied on me so much.
If I messed u- No! I couldn't. I couldn't mess up.
I was the commander.
The leader.
But I wish I had someone....to help me.
It was not easy to take everything on my own shoulders.

Sry it's short.
I usually come on weekends but for quite a long time, unleast 3-4 hours if i have no plans.
I don't rly come on weekdays but try too btw.
Julie covered her face with her hands and sighed. I put my hand on her shoulder and she immediately turned to me.
"It's going to be okay," I said, beaming down on her. Julie forced a weak smile that turned confident as soon as she looked at her team's encouraging faces.
They're counting on me... Julie thought. I can't let them down. I am they're leader and I will be the leader that they need and depend on!
Once Julie made up her mind she stood up, wiped her eyes and faced her team.
"Prepare yourselves." She began. "We shall claim back our winning title from Rave and show Kaleb and the others exactly what we are made of!"
The mirage team started roaring and cheering, leaping onto their feet, their self esteem building.
"Now who's with me?" Julie asked as she put her right arm out to the center, an orange glow emanating from her finger tips. The rest of us walked closer to her and released the aura of our powers into our finger tips.
"Mirage!" We all cheered simulteanously as we threw our hands into the air.
Let's give this competition everything we've got!

"Sorry he is a bit of a grouch," i apologized to the girl he ran into to.
"I understand!" she bounced off and forgot quickly.
"Could you bother to try and actually be nice to people?" I asked and we kept walking toward the team meeting area. He followed me silently after that, it was obvious that this guy had a thing against people. We eventually got to the team meeting place and I skipped into Mirage's sanctum with Ringo behind me.
We came right on time for the cheering and the team shouted merrily.
Who I thought to be the navigator was looking at a map of some sort and I made a conversation.
"Is that our mission?"
"Huh?" he obviously didn't know what he was looking at.
"Sure looks like a mind reader's map!" I smiled beaming up at him.
"I never thought of it that way.." he flipped it right side up.
"See the blue are the happy dreams and black are the nightmares, and it seems that this person has very few." I beamed upward
