Our Adventures in Wonderland via the Phantom Tollbooth

As a tribute to two of my favorite books, Alice in Wonderland and Phantom Tollbooth, I have made an awesome storybook.

Here's the story:
You have mysteriously been cast into a nonsensical land of mystery and randomness. You have been transported there because

a. You're bored
b. You don't appreciate life enough
c. Any other reason why

You need to find your way out of this place. Why? Because that's sort of like an instinctual thing. You and your group of 10 give or take a few must complete a series of unknown tests. Unknown because you hardly realize they're tests.

Everything else is completely up to you. You want to invite the Mad Hatter along? Be my guest. Does the Queen of Hearts want your head? Fine, have fun with that.

Write it like a typical storybook though. If I wanted it like a script, it would have gone in the Character Tea Party.

But this is not a typical storybook, just write it like one.

Personality: goofy, a little off and strange, but i a love able way

Appearance: black skin (from race) blue eyes, curly light black hair. Usually found smiling or laughing.

History: unknown, when he came to the land he hit his head and lost his memories

Hates: boredom, heat, and almonds (allergic)

Joys: food, jokes, laughing, girls, TV and fun

Favorite Food: hot fudge Sundays and pizza

Favorite Way to Spend Time: day dream and write or draw (which he is good at)

Favorite Thing: dreaming

Favorite Book: the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, Pendragon adventures series, Harry potter, the gatekeepers series, the quantum prophecy series.

Personality: Nice, but reserved. Shael will be kind to anyone she meets, but is not quick to trust or love. She can be sarcastic rarely, and is never offended by sarcasm; she takes it very well. She rarely loses her temper, and most find it hard to make her mad.

Appearance: Eyes are navy blue with small white dots in places, hair is to her shoulder blades, red, and slightly curly.

History: Shael hates discussing her history, and it would take more than just a simple question to get her to do so. When she's ready, she'll tell you

Hates: Listening to people eat, serious people(the one's that can't take jokes), rude/ignorant people

Joys: Writing, animals, singing.

History: She can't remember any of her past but she hopes that the trip to this extremely strange land with help her to somehow find it

Joys: Imagining what a wonderful life she must have had. and her best friend a little squirrel named Pookie

Personality: Quiet on the outside, quite random and loud on the inside, especially when he's with his sisters. However, nobody else has seen this side because he considers nobody his friends, just acquaintances.

Appearance: 5 foot two inches, stocky, with straight black hair. His eyes are brown and he has unevenly tanned skin.

History: He grew up in a suburban environment. He usually enjoys himself with just about everything, but lately, nothing seems to be going his way. He stopped being himself and has lost some of his views of the world.

Hates: Heights and lying people.

Joys: Swimming, watching television, and singing, though the second is a closely guarded secret.

Favorite Food: Sandwiches

Favorite Way to Spend Time: Swimming in the local pool.

Favorite Thing: The goggles that his late cousin gave to him as a birthday present.

Personality: Just an average teenage boy. A bit of a grease monkey.

Appearance: Either a black leather trench coat, white t-shirt,black jeans and black boots or a black shirt with a red tie, white waist coat, black pinstripe trousers, black shoes and a top hat

History: As a child he loved to read so it was only natural when he discovered that in his sleep he could travel into books that he would end up here.

Hates: The queen of hearts and tight wearing male superheroes. Seriously not only uncool but isn't it a little disturding to be save by a grown man in tights?

Joys: Reading, setting things on fire, writing stories.

Favorite Food: Chicken nugget pizza (XL)

Personality: Mischevious, ill-tempered, loud. He's very outgoing and loves a challenge, but when he cant figure out what he wants to do or solve the problem he gets a little angry. On the outside he may seem a little self-centered, but really he likes to help and would do anything for a friend.

Appearance: Ash blond hair, slightly wavy and shapes his face. Shorter in the back then the front which cuts off at the end of his jawline. kind of spikes in the back a little. Black-brown eyes, fair skin, and slightly muscular. Where a lot of trunks and graphic T-shirts, usually black.

History: Bored with the everyday life of things. Doesnt have the urge to do anything anymore including sports or his instruments.

Hates: Rap music, vegestables, math and science, and rumours.

Joys: Playing football, playing his guitar and piano, and drawing.

Favorite Food: Popsicles.

Favorite Thing: Popsicle sticks.

Other: He will take the lead of sticky situations even if you dont want him to, and he like's to argue out his point even when he's obviously wrong. Oh and he's a complete flirt I'm guessing that sort of puts him up for love? XD

She's sick of everyone thinking she's stupid and incapable. She wants to be taken seriously. All her life, people tell her she's not good enough or too young. She just wants to prove herself.

Hates: Spiders, darkness.

Joys: Music, movies, friends, shopping, singing, drawing.

Favorite Food: All fruit, basically.
