I went to a bird reserve and thought this bird was gorgeous!!
They are victorian pigeons and i managed to get close enough and it turned to look at me
( showing once again my love for the spontaneous!)

Well, it would probably look better if it was smaller. It would also help with the overall feel of the image. Anyway, I love the bird! It's very pretty. Hard to believe it's a pigeon!
The navy blue/purple feathers are absolutely gorgeous! The crest and the red eye top it all off.
Now, changing the subject to your picture taking skills I think you got the focal point (bird, obviously) perfectly in the middle of the shot (it looks that way at least). I surprised you got so close to it without it flying away! My pictures are much more horrible. I take pictures of landscapes because they don't really move, lol.

I love this picture. Because you were able to get so close, we can really see the texture of the feathers and all the different colors. Typically, I personally prefer the subject to be slightly off center, but ti really works for this picture because the background is filled with different hues and textures for the eye to play with as well. Very cool!
Who did the jedi mind trick on you women when it comes to capri pants? *waves hand* You want a piece of clothing that makes your ass look wider, your legs shorter, and your feet bigger.

Tee-hee. I remember those birds! They have funny feathers on their heads! THis one looks scary, though, with the red eyes? A A A H ! Anyways. Um . . . nice pic. I like its feet they are so cute. I love its scaly legs. I like The colour of its feathers. I want them. Its beak is so small and wierd! It is a pretty and evil bird at the SAME TIME! I love the wierd darker blue thing around its eye its so cool. It looks like an oversized Blue jay! HA HA blue jay. I like blue jays. Anyways . . . yeah . . . Baii!

Poetry is my cheap means of transportation. By the end of the poem the reader should be in a different place from where he started. I would like him to be slightly disoriented at the end, like I drove him outside of town at night and dropped him off in a cornfield. — Billy Collins
