tye dye!!

Love it? Hate it? Wear it all the time??

I LOVE tyedye. I love doing it, I love wearing it, I love selling it. I dunno why, its just a great great thing. How bout y'all?

Personally I hate it...It looks very bad on me...I'm one of those fashion-obsessed people who'd rather buy a t-shirt for twenty bucks at Hot Topic than make one myself.

Im the kind that... looks informal from afar then formal up close, or vice versa or something, basically white baggy pants, its like cotten or something I dont know, a shirt, then an over button-up plaid shirt, usually orange, blue, or red.

^^ amen to that. Blazer, oxford, green day t-shirt, beat-up jeans and converses. Oh yeah.

I actually walked into a hot topics store or it was something gothy/emo.

Friend was wearing all black so noone cared, other friend was fine, me on the other hand, white pants, orange button up plaid shirt. The brightest thing in the freaken store.

Hehe, I love Hot Topic. 'Tis great.

Though I don't normally wear black...they still rock.

I remember a black shirt that said "Im only wearing black until they make something darker".

But I dont own any tye dye shirts, doesnt look right on me.

When I was six or seven I wore a tye-dye shirt that I made at VBS every day for two months...*cringe*

I only have and had 1 shirt. It was for Destination Imagination. I never had a tye dye shirt before so this one was amazing.... turned Ms Rohwellers dryer red it did XD but the shirts were pink....

year before last was my tyedye thing.*gulp* I dressed in a hippie comsume every day. And not normal hippie, steriotypical tye dye and riped jeans with ribbons in my hair... ick. Believe it or not that was seventh grade. I wasn't very popular..

I still have my tie dye shirt from a camp a few years ago. Would I ever wear it in public again? NO.

You people are NO fun!! You be troubled teenagers all you like, it wears out quickly. Its more work to be angsty than it is to be cheerful. Frankly, I cannot stand emo style. Especially the crap they sell at Hot Topic. My problem being that kids with enough money to afford clothing from Hot Topic probably have a better life than they like to think. I see it all the time at my brother's school. Carefully planned outfits intended to resonate one's inner torment with an i-Pod in one hand and a freaking picture phone in the other. I find it disgusting. The emphasis any one social group places on the way the other members dress is upsetting. I love tye-dye and paint-covered overalls and ribbons and pigtails as much as I love a 3 piece skirt suit or a designer pair of jeans and some red sling-backs. All my clothing reflects me. Not some ridiculous, over-rated fad. Me.

Thats good. I've never been to hot topic. There aren't any where I live. Is it just your average gothic store?

hot topic is the john deere of goth stores. really expensive crap for kids who dont need it.

Sorry...I'm bored.. But all the stuff I buy at hot topic reflects me. Napoleon Dynamite, the Ramones, Green Day, Fall Out boy stuff... 'tis all me. And my life's great. I have the ^^ iPod, and working on the camera phone...but my parents prolly won't let me...
