You'll love this site. Everyone's extremely nice and there are quite a few people who will go out of their way to help you with anything you need here.

Before you can post anything of your own, make sure you follow these rules:
1. It is necessary (and polite) that you review two stories or poems before you submit any of your work. That way, the site keeps a nice ratio of 2:1 reviews for every submission.
2. No chatspeak. Since this is a website for writers, many people find it slightly annoying when reading intentional misspellings.

That's about it. If you have any questions, you can ask me, or ask a Greeter. It's their job to help out newcomers to the site!

If you ever need some fantastic advice on your work, ask an Instructor and they'll help you out!

Im so sorry I couldnt reply back earlier but I havent been on YWS lately. Now Im back and here to stay
Thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome and to anti pop for the explaination! It was very helpful
To answer the question "What type of genres do you like?" Well, I basically like some thrillers and almost all of Stephen King novels! Stephen King, master of horror, is my favourite author and I pretty much admire Ken Follet too
Some of the pieces I'd written got wiped out of my hard drive due to a stupid virus :/ buut Im planing on having a fresh start. Ive just written another short piece titled "The Widow". Please do review it, it's right here viewtopic.php?t=68593
