Also, it's kind of like, free-verse, so give me a break on the whole rhyme-scheme thing.
Let's run rampant through the city.
Arms linked.
Hands intertwined.
Together we are quite a pair;
Promoting odd looks,
Sketchy glares,
From others, not like us.
Let's run rampant through the city,
And make people think twice;
Think about fairytales
And reality.
Hey, wouldn't that be nice,
If they finally realized
That we are not at all the same?
Let's run rampant through the city,
Not ever slowing down
To take one last look around,
For there's people in this city
Who can't quite comprehend
What is the beginning
As opposed to the end.
Let's run rampant through the city,
Finding joy in their terror-stricken faces.
Scare them with our monstrous size,
Scare them with our blood-shot eyes.
Leave them wondering,
"Have we been living among all these lies?
Is there more terror on the rise?"
Let's run rampant through the city,
Being name-called all the while.
We'll just forget them, ignore it,
Just long enough to see you smile.
Although there's one name in particular
That sticks out from all the rest.
And oddly enough, it's the one that fits best.
Monsters.
:) Did you get it? xD
