Thought I would just introduce myself quickly~

I've literally just found this site, but I'm already loving it! I used to lurk about on Figment quite a bit - but I'm finding it's just draining my muse, and it's way too melodramatic for my liking (no offence to anyone who may be on Figment).

I'm obviously a big fan of the BBC Sherlock. That being said, however, I am also a fan of the original stories and the movies. I'm a very keen photographer - my main subjects are birds of prey and wildlife, though I do photograph pretty much anything that catches my eye. I also go horse riding regularly at my local stables, but I unfortunately do not own a horse yet. I will one day. I hope.

So I hope I can lurk over here for a good while - YWS looks like a really neat site! I also hope that I can get to know some of you and learn a lot more about writing~

Haha I found this site searching for other places to post my work. I'm also over on fictionpress, but I stopped getting feedback after a while and so I'll be lurking here too. It looks awesome!

Just to know me a bit: I love musicals (my favorites are Wicked and RENT), my favorite animal is a wolf, and...hmm, something totally random about me...stage managing for my school's show right now!

Hello everyone !I'm a romanian student living in Odense, Denmark. My name is Ionut but one of my nicknames is Haze. I've been writing for the past 3 years for pleasure but I would really like to develop a more professional hand at it. I've been writing poetry and short stories for the most part but recently I've taken up writing a novel because of an idea that didn't go away and haunted my thoughts for quite a while.

Hi, I just joined YW Society and posted my first essay... I am also looking for friends to discuss the works on this website. I also have a question about the website, I did not find the answer although I checked FAQ. What is difference between "Commenting on a work" and "Reviewing the work" ?? If someone answers this, I would be really happy... Thanks

Hi Mb, basically the difference between a review and a comment is that you get points for a review. However, reviews have to give some constructive advice for the writer and not just be your opinion. Also once you have enough points you can submit more of your own work as well

I'm Buffaloni (or Ann, formally) and I've been lurking around this site for a few days now and finally decided to take a stab in the dark and just join so I can share some of my work with you seemingly lovely people. I really don't have much to say, other than the fact that I love writing (and Doctor Who). I'm glad to be here!
