Plot:

Reincarnation, literally "to be made flesh again", is a doctrine or metaphysical belief that some essential part of a living being (in some variations only human beings) survives death to be reborn in a new body. This essential part is often referred to as the spirit or soul, the "higher" or "true" self, "divine spark", or "I". According to such beliefs, a new personality is developed during each life in the physical world, but some part of the self remains constant throughout the successive lives.

Some people think reincarnation, or Second Life, is merely a fairytale. As believable as dragons or mermaids.

Some people, however, believe.

When you were born, you were born with knowledge and memories that didn’t belong to you. For a while, you thought it was normal so you didn’t bother telling anyone. Now, being older, you know that this isn’t normal, and now you’re too scared to tell anyone for fear of being called a freak, being shunned, or being put though strange scientific tests. Every night, you go to bed wondering why this happened, how it happened, and if there is anyone else out there like you.

And all the while, the memories of your ‘previous life’ follow you, and you begin to wonder if that really was you…

Your character can be anyone, from a Second Life (someone who has been reincarnated), a civilian, a scientist…anyone you want. Just no mythical creatures or anything like that, please.

Also, if you’re a Second Life, there are two types you can be. You can be someone who has only been reincarnated once (1st generation) or someone who has been reincarnated twice (2nd generation, two different ‘you’s’).

Personality: Her personality can be erratic, but most of the time she keeps to herself and is quiet.

History 1: Dorothy grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania with her parents. Dorothy was to be married when she was to turn 16, but died shortly before her wedding. She died from an infection in her lungs due to an unknown source and never met her husband, because it was an arranged marriage. She knew nothing but farming all her life and had never been outside her town. She died in 1818.

History 2: Rose is a young girl who has had severe asthma all her life. She lives in a small suburb with her parents and is an only child. Rose also has strange dreams of farm life and a narrowed perception of travel. When she looks in the mirror she sometimes sees herself as sallow and sickly. It scares her sometimes, but confuses her more than anything.

Appearance: In all of Isaac's clear memories of him, Lev was young, with long, messy black hair, and tanned skin. Isaac has a fairly similar appearance, but he keeps his hair short and neat. He usually wears smart-casual clothing. Isaac is also cleaner and healthier than his previous self, who was overworked and unclean.

Personality: Isaac sometimes has an urge to rebel against authority figures, though he is usually able to suppress this urge. He is normally very friendly and easy going, but he has been known to explode in anger. He does a lot of strange things on impulse - his most common impulse is giving large amounts of money away to complete strangers.

History 1: Isaac's memories of his past life are vague, but he is certain that his previous self, Lev, took part in the Russian revolution of October, 1917. He remembers fighting in the Russian civil war that followed, and he thinks he died during that war. Isaac thinks that he was in his late twenties when he died.

History 2: Isaac was brought up by a businessman who ran a global business worth tens of millions. When Isaac was 18, his father died. He inherited his father's money and business, but, unsure what to do, he gave the business to one of his father's close friends. Now unsure what to do with the money, Isaac keeps it all in the bank, carrying a large bundle of notes around to give to random strangers on impulse. Despite having enough money to live in luxury for the rest of his life, Isaac lives in a humble abode. He would like a job, but he is unqualified for most jobs, as he gained bad grades during school, due to his rebellious nature.

History: Has been looking for inspiration and has traveled the world and found nothing. She heard of rumors that there are some people who are living Second Lives, and wants to find them. She thinks that that will be the perfect story inspiration.

History(s): Joe doesn't remember much of his past. Lestat was an evil man, called his self an blood letter. He was mad obsessed with drinking blood and killing people. Yet he wasn't a vampire, no he was a human but drinking blood was his hobby. Lestat fell in love at the age of 17 and got the taste of his own medicine when his wife found out what he had been doing and thought it would be cool if she joined in two. She tried to drink a bit of Lestats blood to try it out and couldn't stop. She killed him when he was in the bath.

History 2: Joe lives with his mum, dad and sister Ruby in a cosy house. He is a very popular boy and has alot of friends. But lately things have happened his friends are speading roomers and the visions have started. He believes his life couldn't get any worse.

Appearance: Alice is small for her age, with shortish, curly light brown hair, brown eyes, fair skin, and freckles. Cecylia was also small, with the same hair but long, and blue eyes.
Personality: Alice is not social, especially at her junior high, but she's smart and gets good grades. She loves bicycling. She loves old things too, like antiques and history.
History(s): Cecylia was born in 1919 in Poland, twenty years before the German occupation. She was born into a middle-class Jewish family, with a sister and a brother, and everything was peachy until the war (WWII) broke out. She was executed with her family in 1944.
Alice lives with her mother, an avid scientist who doesn't believe that Second Lives exist.She has led a fairly uneventful life up until she started having visions.
Other: Though she is freaked out by it, she likes to think about Cecylia, as she likes history and doesn't have many friends.

Appearance: Here Noah has curly black hair and bright blue eyes. He has a thin build, slight facial hair, and is rarely seen without one of his guitars strapped to his back.

Personality: Inquisitive by nature, Noah isn’t afraid to take risks. He’s rebellious and is a bit in doubt about his past life of Trevor Stevens. He doesn’t fully believe that was him, and so he tries to live his life completely different. He’s friendly and has a good sense of humor, though not entirely loyal.

History One: Trevor Stevens was a respectable scientist born in California in 1874. He was an environmentalist and a humanitarian, though worked with extreme robotics in his later years. He was married for 23 years and had two children, Jacob and Liam. He died in 1942 from cancer.

History Two: Noah Andover was born in New York, New York. When he was young, he showed interest in robotics, but in his teens switched his interests to music instead. He became a musician and learned to play piano and guitar and became a songwriter. He currently still lives in New York, but travels frequently with his band. In his spare time, when he’s not playing music, he’s tinkering with machines, despite the fact that he doesn’t think Trevor was really him in a previous life.

Adam twisted and turned in his bed as memories flashed through his head a syringe going towards him, the pain after a few second. Adam woke up screaming "arrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhh" he paused to breath "arrrrrrrrrrhhhh" suddenly he stopped realising the memory of his past life was over he a few deep breaths. Adam lied back down on his bed happy memories he thought as he drifted into a sleep about his child playing in the sun calling Daddy his little boy Gorge.

Adam woke up and pulled on his black jeans and coat. He caught the train and took it to central new york were he got off and went to meet his brother Arthur. Adam pushed the door open to the pub and went to sit with his brother "have you got them" Adam said "bro I don't think this is a good idea.." Arthur replied "I said do you have them"
"yes, look I'm only doing this cause I love you and cause I can tell you need to get this out of your system, but promise me look me in the eye and promise me you won't drag mum into this, these mad illusion"
" their not illusions their real and the fact you found these files are proof now give me the file". Arthur new he was beaten and handed the files over to him they had the locations of Adam wife and child in them well his old life's wife and child. "be careful Arthur I think some ones following me"
"sure they are" Arthur said as Adam walked out of the pub Arthur didn't want to be seen coming out of a pub so he went out the back way his phone rang and Arthur picked it up "yep hello "
"hello Arthur were is Adam going" a strange voice said

"their is a tall man behind you who will! kill you if you don't tell me what I want to no" Arthur had a quick glance back their was no one their he looked down at his phone as he spoke "I said it was none of your buissnuis ,and theirs no one behind me" the man on the phone chuckled as Arthur finished speaking "did I say behind you silly me I meant in front of you." Arthur looked up and sure enough a gun pointed at his head "uh oh arthur said before the trigger was pulled.

Appearance: In his memories he was taller than normal, with green eyes and black hair. Now also he has green eyes and black hair, but is not very tall. In his previous life he was not clean or tidy, but that changed in his present life.

Personality: Is kind and trustworthy, but he is extremely paranoid about getting betrayed. He is also friendly with almost anyone, even his enemies.

History 1: Zire remembers Zander working as a thief for a larger organization, he was extremly skilled. Zire remembers much about the thefts Zander participated in but does not remember much about the organization or the cause for his death, although he does remember that he was killed by a very close friend of his, resulting in his present paranoia.

History 2: Was raised by his kind father and mother, who inherited a large fortune that they had got from their own parents. They now are the proud owners of a large company selling weapons to the government. After his parents died his older brother (10 years older) inherited the company. As he and his brother were very close Zire got the chance to continue his studies and finally after a while start to live off the money his brother earned. Also Zire frequently steals various nit picks from around him to test his 'ability' and to prove to himself that Zander was indeed Zire himself. Although he always returns what he stole Zire has not yet been caught even once.

Personality: Hard core at times, harsh and even shy and confused when the appropriate situation is in her way.

History(s): When she was Mary she lived on a farm but her family was rich enough to pay people to work on the farm. She dressed well but was very self put (popular). That is the reason why she was murdered by class kids who realized what they'd done aft3er they did it.

History(present): Her parents thought she was possessed when she was younger : http://miss-deathwish.deviantart.com/ar ... r-97841713 so they sent her to the orphanage where she sat in bed at night, reliving the nightmares of her death. At the age of sixteen she was asked to move out of the orphanage and into an old friend she'd had at the orphanage's home. She willingly agreed and now she gets a good rest. Some times she won't wake up for days though.

Other: Up for love and also that she is kind of on her own, only learning by trial and error. Feel free to stop her at anytime if she tries to jump off a building linking she will fly.

Personality: Kye is a sweetheart to basically everyone, and she tries to make the best of life. She's not the kind to spend years doing one thing, and is always doing unexpected things. She's fun and exciting, but not likely to be one to settle down with anyone who doesn't have the same kind of personality.
History 1: Kye grew up in a stable home in California with a few siblings and parents who were madly in love. She lost her parents at age 18, a few months before she graduated high school, and since then has been unsatisfied to stay anywhere for a long period of time. She moves all over the country on a whim, and enjoys it.
History 2: Julia was born in the 1955 in Italy, living in a small country home in Tuscany. She had two brothers and two parents that hated each other and were both drunks. She grew up and married a man she never thought she could love as much as she did and they moved to America. Julia had two children, a daughter and a son. She died a premature death losing a fight to leukemia at age 30.

Appearance: Laurence has short, dark brown hair, brown eyes and the sort of face that just seeps into the background. He also wears spectacles, is of a slightly fitter than average build, has a little stubble and dresses casually. Adelle had perky, blue eyes, longer hair and more feminine features but the same sort of face shape. Dieter had blue eyes, lighter, brown hair and stubble. He was similar in all other respects.

Career: Laurence has started work as a private detective. For years he has tried to work out who the people in his head were, working on the few details he knew, that one had an uncanny ability with languages and traveled around a lot and that the other died a young and violent death in New York. He took on all the cases involving young girls that had died or disappeared in New York, even though most were too recent but he hadn't the heart to turn the parents down. And then he met Mrs Hopkins whose daughter Adelle had been missing thirty-two years. He's almost certain she's the one.

Personality: Laurence is kind hearted and impressionable. He's the sort of man who believes there are two types of people in the world, the good and the bad and the bad have to be stopped and the good helped. He believes that he can do anything that he puts his mind to. He's a confident and efficient worker but he's also highly obsessed with answers and with removing the voices from his head. He believes they have been put there by God who wants Laurence to help these two poor lost souls. Laurence has bouts of madness every now and then and is a strong Christian.

History: Adelle: Grew up in New York just prior to Laurence's life and was kidnapped and brutally murdered.

History: Dieter: Fascinated with languages, Dieter traveled the world, learning as many as he could. But this was just a cover for his real joy was in murder and he learned early that too many deaths in one town brought suspicion.

History: Laurence: Laurence was brought up along with his two sisters and from an early age he was told that he was the man and that he had to protect his sisters. They were a Christian family and one day he asked his Mother why he should not protect the whole world. She smiled and said he could do that too. Laurence took it on as his mission. The voices hadn't seemed important at first. One mumbled nonsense in his ear and the other only ever cried. That worried him a little but she wouldn't talk to him so he helped others instead. Then the visions began, awful bloody visions that he accounted to the girl. He realised he could tell no one but began his plans to be a detective.

Danny's history: he was a senator in Portugal and speaks mostly it in his memories and as a result David speaks fluent Portuguese but he never speaks it.
