"He who takes a life...it is as if he has destroyed an entire world....but he who saves one life, it is as if he has saved the world entire" Talmud Sanhedrin 4:5
!Hasta la victoria siempre! (Always, until Victory!)
-Ernesto "Che" Guevarra
Don't own and iPod. Don't care to. Probably never will.
That love is suffering is easy to see, for before the love becomes equally balanced on both sides there is no torment greater, since the lover is always in fear that his love may not gain its desire and that he is wasting his efforts.
Andreas Cappelanus, The Art of Courtly Love
Got an iPod Mini six days ago, 620 songs on it. Here's a few bands...
Razorlight
The Killers
Maroon 5
RHCP
Kaiser Chiefs
Franz Ferdinand
Placebo
Muse
British Sea Power
Snow Patrol
Korn
Linkin Park
Damien Rice
Green Day

Okay so quite a few bands...just what I can see in my CD rack, they're all in there.
Have an MP3 player, not the same, but still pretty good, I've got American Idiot, Riffs by Status Quo, Bounce by Bon Jovi and a load of Mixed rock ranging from Robert Palmer to Van Halen and New Order and Skid Row and Dire Straits, that sorta stuff.
Light travels faster than sound. That is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience
2.5 days of music
or... 988 songs
or... 3.82 GB worth
Not as much as Jack, but getting there
I'm loving these compilations called "The Best Air Guitar Album In The World... Ever!" There's loads of CDs in the series (and the name is pretty cringe-worthy) But there's a ton of amazing well-known rock songs. They're on me Pod, along with a bunch of other rock, and some random songs i think are funky... \:D/
Death cab for cutie and a lot of Ben Gibbard on his own, doing girls just wanna have fun! and in his other band The Postal service.
The killers- all parts to the murder trilogy, fans will know what I mean!
The La's
Bedouin sound clash
Kanye West
X&Y coldplay and and A rush of blood to the head, Parachutes
Beck
Jem
The Magic Numbers
Garbage
My Chemical Romance
Nirvana
Razorlight
Snow Patrol
Imogen Heap
Greenday
That's not all lol but I can't be arsed to put any more..
Still on the topic of what's ON my iPod, though...
I GOT IPOD SOCKS!!!
They're these fabulously pointless socky thingies you put on your iPod and they're meant to keep it from scratches, but it's a bit too late for that with mine. Still, they come in a box of 6, and they're all different colours!! They are rather fabulous, especially the green one; it does, quite literally, rock my socks.
Well, my iPod recently had to be restored to factory settings, so... I'm still in the process of loading music back on. Bought halfway done. I'm at 1034 songs now, but.... that's just part of my bro's collection, now I've got to get my own music on. Anyhow, a few favorites:
Dredg
Thursday
Nightwish
Blindside
Dashboard Confessional
Postal Service
Phantom of the Opera
Moby
FFX Soundtrack
Sigur Rós
My own songs, meaning that which I've written
Blue Man Group
Daft Punk
M83
Evanescence
Mae
Zao
to name a few.
Ach, my lucky bro gets to go see Zao in concert... I don't much care for the bands they are playing with, otherwise I would so be there. *sob* Poor me lol
If I still had it I would have artists such as
Creed
Lifehouse
Daughtry (not sure if I spelled that right)
Paramore
"She walks in Beauty, like the night,Of cloudless limes and starry skies; And all that's best of dark and bright, Meet in her aspect and her eyes:Thus mellowed to that tender light, Which Heaven to gaudy day denies." -George Gordon Lord Byron
