What is the Best Book you have read...

The Inheritance Cycle is my favorite series of all time!

My list of "absolute favourites" is:
1. Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein -the most beautiful, stunning and heartbreaking book I own. The characters are perfectly crafted and the writing gives me shivers each time I read it.
2. Goliath by Scott Westerfeld - The worldbuilding is fantastic and there is such a great variety of characters who I love to bits. I have read the trilogy over a dozen times, and will take any opportunity to rave about them!
3. The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater - I don't ship characters but I totally ship Blue and Gansey. Words don't do justice how well Maggie Stiefvater writes.

THE HOBBIT.

Although the movie is terrible. -.-

Lonesome Dove Series- Larry McMurtry
Dances With Wolves- Michael Blake
Jurassic Park- Michael Crichton
Timeline- Michael Crichton
Sherlock Holmes (all of 'em!)- Arthur Conan Doyle
Gone With the Wind- Margaret Mitchell

All these books I named are incredible! I couldn't possibly put them in order. And there's so many more I could put down...

Those books were incredible! I read them twice Christopher Paolini is such a great role model, too, because he wrote them when he was so young!

My favorite stories kind of follow the same format: Franny and Zooey by J.D. Salinger, The Graduate by Charles Webb, and Raw by Lua and Alice.

They definitely influence my modern, first-person, writing style. I love their dialogue and their desire to address issues that we don't openly talk about. And they have tragic protagonists that bring their tragedies upon themselves.

The best book I've ever read is Animal Farm (George Orwell). It's an odd book to call your favorite, but I absolutely love it.

Hmm, my favourite books. Well series would have to be The Narnia Chronicles and Harry Potter.
But just books, I honestly don't know. But The Night Circus by Erin Morgernstern would have to be on the list, along with a million others.

I loved The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke, The Bartimaeus Cycle by Jonathon Stroud and anything by Dianna Wayne Jones

That was an amazing book!! I really want to read 1984 by him as well.

the best movie I've seen? probably saving private ryan. damn ending makes my eyes all watery. the best book? the series I've re-read the most is called the door within, it all one big allusion to Christianity,and its awesome, so go read it.

Best book is shades of grey by jasper fforde. Although unfortunately named, it is a very thoughtful dystopian future book.

I don't know really. I think maybe 'Partials' by Dan Wells or 'Ashfall' by Mike Mullin. Those are both really good books. I also love 'The Program' by Suzanne Young. Those three are good books. (First books, mind you.) I don't know, though. I can't say best for sure. I've read a lot of good books.

Ooh, and I also love Ender's Game! And the Mistmantle Chronicles.
And... Okay, sorry. *hushes*
...I seem to have sworn my undivided, undying loyalty to a dozen different books over the past decade, proclaiming each as the absolute best, the most amazing book ever, and my one true love for all of eternity. :/
