Which is why I was trying to look like I didn't try too hard. The party rocked anyway.

Yes. Us Brits have Cowboy and Moulin Rouge parties all the time. We're not sure why (since neither cowboys nor moulin rouge have anything to do with England) but we enjoy them all the same.
