Elements of Faerie.

I was so torn. I wanted to leave, but I didn't. I had never done anything exciting, but I was scared. And what did he mean have fun with James?

"Wait, I'll go." I followed after him, but he didn't say anything. James, was saying something behind us, but I didn't listen. We walked through the woods re-tracing our steps and trying to get as far away as possible. When we got out of the woods there were two fairies without wings huddled together talking. Mikhail finally looked behind him at me. This was not good.

"Um, hello." The girl turned around from the boy she was talking to and looked at Mikhail and I. She was pretty and was a water fairy, but the boy she was talking to was a fire fairy.

(This is Ballow and Leal talking)

(Geh, how can you tell what their element is? Is it like written upon their bodies? And last time I checked we were in a cafe . . . Oh well, I'll play upon it a little bit and maybe you can edit yours a tad.)

Ballow

Two people barged through the window to the cafe and landed on the chairs next to Ballow and Leal.

Ballow stared at him mouth slightly open in surprise. Leal squealed a little bit and Ballow cleared his throat as they looked at him.

Ballow began, "So, why are you so blantantly dropping in on us?"

They stared at him one of them looked concerned at Leal then at Ballow.

Ballow sighed and noticed that they didn't have wings either. An idea popped into Ballow's mind.

"You in for wing-questing?" he asked as if he didn't care. Someone walked through the window again and Leal squealed . . . again.

Ballow sighed, and repeated his question, "Are you up for wing-questing?"

Everyone on the table looked at him like he was crazy, Ballow felt his face grow hot and he cleared his throat.

Ballow stared at the window for a second regaining his composure. He stared at the forest which surrounded the cafe and then he turned to look back at the 3 intruders and Leal.

"Do you know how to get wings?" he asked quietly.

One of the guyes looked at him and began to laugh. Ballow growled, but he blushed again.

*Ohhhh, sorry! You just happen to be a fire fairy and there were none around. Um, there's only 2 of us, so who's the other one?*

Mikhail looked around while holding my hand.

"Yeah, I think so." Mikhail answered, which surprised me. He never really said anything. "You have to do good." I piped up and said,

"I think so, too."

*ooops . . I thought that James managed to follow you and track you here . . .*

BALLOW

Ballow scoffed, "You're joking? . . . No wonder why I never got them."

They stared at him half surprised, "What?"

Ballow caught the meaning that he had implied and blushed a little bit, "I'm not a bad person, I just don't do anything "good" so to say."

Leal ventured forward, "Neither have I . . ."

They looked to the 3 others and they turned their heads down guiltily, "Us too . . ."

Ballow let out a relieved sigh; at least he wasn't the only one. He smiled at them, "So you guys think we can work together and get them?"

Leal nodded and he turned to the others.

*Ok, this is just a bit random, I know. Oh, and that's a good point. James could have followed us.*

"Yeah! Let's go wing-hunting!" We all cheered together and toasted with our chai lattes.

"So, where to go first?", I interrupted the cheering with my question. I looked over at Mikhail and James and they shrugged... together. It was kind of creepy.

"I don't know.", Ballow said. "We'll find something good to do."

umm...dunno what to post

*someone can tie Nikki and Rayine in with their story. Nikki's a fire fairy and Rayine is an earth fairy. We're talking next to the lake.*

*Everyone at the cafe, sorry to do this, but I see an oppurtunity. I'm tying us all together*

James said exictedly, "I know just the place to go wing hunting. Lets go to the lake near the faerie acadamy, you know where some go to learn to control their powers."

Everyone agreed and set off.

eh... my character sort of got lost...can someone bring me in please??

Nikki heard a movement behind her in the brush. She quickly put out the fire and turned around to face the intruder. She noticed that Rayine had heard the noise as well. Nikki motioned to Rayine, who then walked quietly over to her, stumbling over a rock in the ground.
"Who do you think it is?" Rayine asked. Worry showed in her eyes.
"It could be a number of people, but I think it's another fire fairy," Nikki slowly got to her feet, and walked toward the trees that blocked the path to the lake. She then jumped on a figure that was hunched down in a bush on the side of the path. Grabbing the person before they could react. "Rayine! Come help me!"
"Okay, but what do I do?" Rayine said as she looked on.
"Just grab 'em." Nikki said in between grunts. She had grabbed the fairy around the neck and one of their arms and was trying to get them to hold still. Nikki then heard a very familliar voice.
"Stop! Let me go!" Nikki looked down and saw that it was Colt that she almost had in a head lock. She quickly released him, jumping back and out of the way.
"Well, it looks like you're better now." Colt said as he rubbed his sore neck.
"Yeah, I'm better. But what were you doing down there?" Nikki said as she planted her hands on her hips.
"I was checking up on you. I thought that maybe you might still be a little depressed from earlier." He said as he looked at Rayine. "Who's this by the way?"
"Oh, sorry this is Rayine. I ahve to help her get her wings." Nikki supplied.
"Help her get- wait a minute. Does that mean you're a guardian?" Colt asked with a look of shock on his face.
"Yep, I would guess so."
Nikki, Colt, and Rayine all jumped as they heard another sound in the trees behind them. Someone else was out there.

selene can you post please, so i no what to post

Hey, everyone read this before you post something! I sort of set the stage with my last post. So write off of that so we can tie everybody together. Thanks.

We had been walking for a few hours with everyone. Mikhail stood close by my side and James stood on my other. We trudged forth in the woods. We had set out to find a fairy academy along with two other fairies. Just then we came up on a lake, where a water fairy was practicing her magic. She was in the water gathering energy and forming what looked to be a ball. She was startled by us, so she flew over to face us, but in the process she let go of her power and the ball of water flew over toward us. It missed because of Mkhail's quick reaction to create a wind charm, the same one he had made the night we met. Untrained fairies could be dangerous.

There was another group of fairies watching this spectacle. There were three of them and they seemed very ready to pounce on our group. My back straightened and I moved toward a defensive position.
