Raiyne checked the sky. She smelled a thunderstorm coming up, the faraway tell-tale signs of dark clouds loomed on the horizon.
"You'll be glad for the rain, won't you?" she asked to her dianthus lovingly. the seemed to nod with agreement.
She smiled and turned again to the earth. Picking up her gardening tools, she stood up andstarted walking towards her back door. The thunder hurried her on. Rain pounded down as she entered the treshold of her home.

Leal twirled around as the rain fell on her face. She smiled as it pelveted her face and soaked her clothes. She smiled as she twirled more pulling more rain from the sky. She ran towards the lake and jumped in it laughing like a little child as the rain fell on her face. This was heaven. Water was just plain amazing.
"ARE YOU CRAZY!" Someone yelled from shore. "You'll get killed!" It was a guy. She frowned.
"I'm fine." She yelled back diving under the water.
Nikki looked around at the ground, everything was black. She had never meant for this to happen, now she would be in trouble with the earth faeries. "Crap!"
"Hey, you there!"
Nikki turned around at the voice that sounded behind her, it was Farren, the head fire faerie. His face told her he was angry, his eyes were bright red.
"Sorry, I di- I mean I-" I started to say.
Farren held up his hand in her face, "Save it." He looked around at the ground, then he looked back at her. "You will pay for this. Don't doubt it."
He grabbed her hand and lead her back to the city.
I am never going to get my wings now!

I headed for cover as soon as I heard it. Lightning. This was sure death to a wind fairy, unless you knew how to control it. Few people did, and therefore many got killed during lightning storms and when it rained. It was sure death if heavy droplets fell on our delicate wings.
I ran to the closest mushroom and ducked for cover. This was going to be bad, so I decided to sit down on the cold, wet earth. I saw the chaos of the wind fairies running or flying to safety. Some cried out and others seemed shocked into immobility. I wished I could help, but I couldn't even fly.
A wind fairy spotted my safe haven and walked over. I didn't recognize him, but I was more than willing to have anyone ease my fright. He walked over and sat down.
"Some storm, huh?", he seemed calm and serene. I was so scared I felt like yelling at him. I chuckled a nervous laugh, then replied,
"Yeah, some storm." He sat down beside me, then looked at me.
"Hey, aren't you in my Magic Class? Celia, right? I'm Mikhail." I looked at him for the first time. He had black-green hair and had deep green eyes. He seemed like he would be an outcast in our school, but he wasn't. Actually, he really wasn't hard to look at.
"Hmmm, I don't know." Suddenly it began to pour bullets. I cried out in fear, but Mikhail remained his calm.
"Do you remember the wind shield in class? Put your hands up and release your power into the wind charm. Now!" I was so frightened that I did as he said without thinking. His shield joined mine, creating a spacious shelter from the rain. One drop was all that was needed to crush a fairy's fragile body, especially one without wings.
It was twilight, so we took turns resting and regaining our strength for the safety charm. He seemed nice, but didn't talk much. It was a few hours later when the rain eased up and we were exhausted. Magic drains anyone, but especially a small fairy. It was about midnight when the rain stopped, but by then it was threatening to flood. Mikhail seemed a bit worried now and stated that we might to walk in the rain back to the other fairies.
I was frightened again. Even though it might not mean certain death, it was certainly risky.
(Hope this is okay Paramore)
Got YWS?
You judge others upon their actions, but you judge yourself by your intention.
I looked out from the cardboard box and sighed.
I hated rain, even if I am a earth fairy.
....especially when its a thunder storm.
BANG!
"AHH!" My head slammed against the box and I groaned in pain.
Gah I Hate being a explorer.

Emily ran into the forest and layed on the floor. She let the rain drops fall on her body. She was s happy it was raining! Water was her element, her friend, part of her. She absolutely loved water. She would ask her friends if they liked water all the time, and if they said they didn't she would look at them like they were crazy.
I got dark and Emily still lay on the ground letting the rain filll her up. She looked at the sky. The stars and moon shined brilliantly. Emily got lost in the rain and the sky she fell asleep in the forest.
