You find the defects in others
But can’t see the ones in yourself

You try to make others think like you
And only seem to make them angry

You should just appreciate
Instead you player hate

I liked this one, because it was all true, I have a friend who is like that, her name is Elizabeth, she is always citisizing others besides herself.

There are people like this; yes, that is true. As for the actual poem I have some suggestions. It is such a short poem, I do not recommend repeating words. The first two lines both have the word defect. Perhaps the second line can say, "But can't see them in yourself." "Player hate" is slang, it becomes dated quickly if it does not become incorporated into the evolving language. I do not know if "player hate" will stand the test of time. The last line is too long compared to the rest of the poem. I would take out "when the day is done" because that is a common expression that is done. It would also shorten the line and make it fit better. Overall, you do write about something that is true and is very relatable.
