A Morning Poem of Peace

7-16-05

The dawn reappears
the light waves retain their dignity,
as they lasertocrystal dance about us,
The warmth is felt again,
The dew that is fallen rises,
sings itself into the air...
Daytime is appeared.

Wow! That was amazing. I like the kind of formal sense it had to it. The only thing is the last line. Shouldn't it have been "Daytime has appeared?"
when there's nowhere to go, it's time to grow up.

What she said.

And as for the last line, that depends. Sometimes I see in books where they use older dialects of English they'll use the "to be" verbs differently from the way we do.
Please, sit down before you fall down.

In any free society, the conflict between social conformity and individual liberty is permanent, unresolvable, and necessary.
