****Hey, any ideas for a title. Also if this doesn't work tell me. :D****

Leal smiled as she watched Cale sleeping. He always looked so peaceful when he was asleep. He kissed his forehead and his eyes popped open. "Sorry." He muttered sitting up and rubbing his eyelids.

"Why? Your allowed to sleep." She laughed sitting in front of him. "Plus, you let me sleep at night unless you need help with a Rouge problem."

"I never ask you to help with them." He said gruffly. "I abhor it when you find a way to come on the searches. But I can never refuse you." SHe laughed and kissed his cold lips softly.

"I was just about to go shopping, I just came to make sure you were still asleep." SHe smiled.

"I wish you wouldn't go by yourself, ever rouge in this area knows how much you mean to me." He yawned. "And don't want you hurt, you never know what they'll do to try to get a hand over us."

"YOu worry to much, love." She laughed and stood up. "I won't take long anyways, and you need your sleep."

"I've lived for decades, and that is reason enough to worry about what you think is small." He replied streching his legs out and standing up. "I don't like your plan."

"You never do." She laughed grabbing her purse. "But I need food."

"I still say someone else should be the one to get it, or go to one of those night stores." He replied.

"I don't trust the people there, you know that. It's because of you that I don't trust them either." She kissed his lips again and turned to leave. "Go to sleep."

"Just know I don't like it." He yawned laying back down.

"I'll keep that in mind." She laughed walking down the stairs of hteir small apartment complex and started towards the store staying in the sunlight.

*hmm maybe something like Captive, or something like that*

Sebastian watched her from the car. The way the sun hit off her perfect skin as she walked, the blood...he could see it...pumping through her veins. It was running up and down her exposed neck, her arms, her legs.

"Follow her." He instructed the driver. They followed her all the way to a grocery store. They hadn't had those when he had been alive, oh how long ago that had been. Decades. He hadn't been alive since the 1600's.

Sebastian was a vampire. A hungry vampire. He was always hungry, it came with the immortality. Any other vampire would have eight different ways to kill Leal by now, but he wasn't just any vampire and she wasn't just any girl.

He had been following her for months, her and her "boyfriend" Cale, also a vampire. Cale used to be like Sebastian, used to feed off people. Then he turned, he turned against everything. His friends, family- to become one of them. He became a sort of vampire vegetarian.

But no, Sebastian did not want to kill Leal. He wanted to capture her. He was her to be his, mostly to hurt Cale. He wanted to hurt Cale like Cale had hurt him. Partly, because he was the closest to loving someone when he thought about Leal. He never thought it was possible for someone like him to love something. Something as beautiful and kind and good as Leal.

He sat outside the store and watched her shop then check out. She recognized the car, maybe that was why she didn't come out of the store,

Leal swallowed hard when she saw that car. It had been in every town she and Cale and gone to. Had always followed her.

"Something wrong, miss?" The cashier asked her.

"Nothing, I-I'm just making sure I got everything." She lied.

"Alright." The cashier went back to working and she stepped right outside of the door. She took a deep breath and looked around. She mapped the best path that was compeltely bathed in the sunlight. She quickly started walking shivering when she heard the car start and drive behind her. She picked her pace up and looked up at the sky. THere was a cloud looming close to the sun moving slowly towards it. She whimpered and walked faster. She bit her lower lip, making sure she didn't make it bleed. I should've listened to you, Cale. She thought as the sun slowly started to go away. She picked up her pace fighting to stay in the direct sunlight, but soon that would be impossible and she was still a good bit away from the apartment.

Sebastian followed closely behind her as she walked. She was scared, he could smell it. He could also smell something else, he was hungry. So hungry.

The sun was steadily disappearing behind a cloud which only make Leal more scared. He didn't want to scare her. Scratch that. He did want to scare her, but not yet. He wanted to be able to feel her shake in fear, hear the blood pump through her viens faster and faster.

"Turn around." He said in a hoarse voice.

"But sir- " his driver argured.

"Turn around!" He said more indignantly.

"Yes sir." the driver said pulling the car to a stop and turning around, "Where to sir?"

"Take me home." He answered, turning to watch Leal become smaller by the second. She had stopped in her tracks astounded that the car had seased it's pursuit.

All in good time.

Leal sighed and then turned and ran the rest of the way back to the apartment closing hte door behind her. She leaned against it trying to gather her breath back. She prayed Cale wasn't awake yet. She didn't want to worry him.

"Something wrong?" Cale's pure voice asked from her right. She jumped and frowned at him. He was sittign at the table reading a book of some sort.

"You scared the life from me!" She frowned walking over to where he was sitting setting the groceries on the table.

"Why are you so jumpy?" He asked looking at the food in distaste.

"Nothing." She lied grabbing the groceries and walking to the kitchen putting them up. She felt him behind her before he put an arm around her waste turning her around.

"Your a horrible Liar." He said softly his hand cupping her face.

"Just that car I keep seeing was following me again. It turned and drove off though. I don't know why." She said.

"Your parinoid." He laughed kissing her forehead. "Are you sure it's the same car?"

"Yes!" She sighed. "I know it is. It followed me to the store, then back from the store. I started walking faster and it turned and drove off."

"You dont' want a car though." He said crossing his arms. She shook her head no. "Did you have your stake?"

"Yes, but I doubt it would do me any good if they came from behind." She sighed.

"Maybe they don't wnat to take you. Maybe they are just trying to figure out waht you are doing all the time." He replied.

"I don't know, can we stop talking about it?" She asked softly.

"Fine." He lead her towards the living room. "I heared from Peter today, the rouges in his area have stopped being a bother. He doesn't like it because there is no activity from them. He thinks they moved elsewhere which is really odd because he is from such a big town."

"That can't be good." She frowned. "Where woudl they all go?"
