What to do if your inspiration is drained.

A few months ago, after finishing my final exams for school, I found that it was impossible to write. Not writer's block, per se; my mind was simply too drained to do its usual work. I found it immensely annoying, but finally I figured out a good way to help you get back into the writing groove: 1. Make sure whatever you're writing about is something you're passionate for. 2. Now, let's use my example. I was working on a fanfiction, and in the third story I knew my character was going to die of old age at 25 (she's a barn owl/human hybrid and was created in a lab, and has a shortened lifespan.) It was a very dramatic, sorrowful scene. But of course, I hadn't planned to write this until the third book, but I decided to write it out then. 3. Basically, think of the most emotional part in your story/fanfic/poem/play, and write it out. It seems to get the writing mood back into gear, and helps me get some inspiration back. So if there's a death scene in your story, go ahead and write it out. If there's a passionate romantic scene, then write that out. I hope this helps, because it worked great for me. -Ari

Well if you looked in the porn section, that's what you'd expect to find. =/ There's dozens of other harmless categories if you cared to notice.

Get insparition by living life. Don't get, get the work done syndrome, were you sit in front of a computer screen and churn out work. Go out, take a break, look at life, and ideas will flow really easily
