Evening Rain

"You two can sleep, that's a new one too." Tucker sighed. "No, just that Salziar is in really bad shape and his mate is running things for him. She's really angry."

"She had the chance to take Leal on. I'm kinda glad she didn't." Marcus sighed.

"I am too. No one knows what his amte is capable of." Tucker sighed. "Course no one knows what Leal is fully capable of either. There was someone that saw the fight between Salziar and Leal. They say that she was acting like a child playing with a kitten until he broke her leg. After that she near killed him, it was unreal. She moved like none other."

"That's not surprising seeing as what happened when we fought." Marcus replied.

"Still, she tough, I don't think we need to fully worry about either of you. SHe does have a childish nature to her. It's kinda cute." Tucker smiled. Marcus hissed and he held his hand up. "In a childish way, not like that."

MArcus laughed. "I know, but she's mine."

Tucker chuckled, putting eegs in the fridge. They walked back into teh living room, where Leal was still laying down. Marcus sat down beside, shifted until her head was lieing in his lap.

"You were saying?" he asked Tucker.

"They are more cautious, the yknow she is capable of what they thought was not possible. She moves fast when she isnt thinking she can fight well." Tucker shrugged. "Not much else." He smiled

It was actually broing. We've done nothing but sit around adn open presents. But the sad part is, I'm sick with the stomach flu...ir something like that. Even though the doctors said I can't get it,....it weird becaouse I've beenn throwing up since last night. but im fine now. My stomach hurts a little.



Marcus sighed as he woke up, his arm resting around Leals waist. He chuckled inwardly before sitting up. Leal moved beside him, but stayed asleep. He looked down at her, a frown burrowing against his brow. What was he going to do with her? He had to do something. Salizarb was not getting his cold hands on her. He sighed again as he settled back down beside her, pulling her closer.

***Deffinatly the stomach flu, OR food poisining. Opening presents are borning. ***

Leal woke up and looked at Marcus. "Morning already?" She aske.d

"Yes, love." he smiled.

"Can it go away?"

*ehhh*

He chuckled. "I wish."

"But can't we just keep sleeping?" She asked putting a pout face on.

"No." He laughed. "You gotta train anyways."


"I don't want to." She yawned.

"You need to." He laughe.d

He watched as Leal stretched. She was beautiful.

"So..." he trailed off. She eyed him.

"What?" she asked.

"Nothing."

"What?"

"It's just...." He sat up, runnning his fingers through his hair. "Never mind."

She looked at him for a minute. "Ok."

Leal jumped up and ran out the door. She heard him running behind him and she ran faster. She turned back around jupming into a tree and waiting for him. He stopped under the tree and glanced around giving her enough time to jump on his back. She wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck.

"Boo." She whispered in his ear.

Marcus jumped. Leal laughed in his ear.

"Boo back." he whispered, his hands automatically going to her knees. He spun around nailing her against a tree. His forehead rested on hers, his eyes pouring into hers.

"Top of the mornin' to ya." she laughed and kissed him hard. He groaned and leaned into her.

"What?" she asked, her hands restign on his shoudlers.

"Nothing..." he shook his head. She eyed him, again.

"What?" She asked as she looked into hsi eyes again. "Something wrong?"

"No." He smiled softly.

"But there is something wrong." She said touching his cheek. "You look upset."

"I don't like you being in danger is all." He sighed.

"I'm not, I'm with you." She smiled.

"You think more highly of me then you should." He sighed.

"No I don't. you've taken care of me this whole time." She smiled back.
