Please review, dear listening public.

Vs 1
Well it’s been three days and a hundred lonely nights
Sometimes I wonder what happened to my life
Now it’s been twelve days and four-hundred lonely nights
But I’m still here waiting for the morning light

Chorus
Well, they say wait on love
It will find you in the end
I’m still here, waiting on love
Praying that it finds me in the end

Vs 2
These days pass me by at the speed of burning light
I can’t find what I seek in the dark and stormy night
Take me back to where I find I used to be
My heart didn’t know what my eyes could see

Chorus again

Last Chorus

Well, it’s been a long time
so many lonely nights
And they say, wait on love
it will find you in the end
I’m still here waiting on love
Praying that it finds me in the end
In the end

Hello Fellow Writer,

I really liked your song. It's different, yet beautiful. In fact, that's why it's beautiful, because it's different. Waiting on love...what a delicate and most sought after thought. People wait and wait and some wait for all the wrong reasons, never to find what really haunts them most. I think that something that haunts them is their own inability to think clearly for themselves. What I'm getting at is that people should go after what they want and what they need. They shouldn't wait on the world to change. To love, and to be loved is more valuable than any other feeling that one can feel. So for that, people must wait, but as for loving others...well that they must achieve on their own. I've probably made no sense in my gibberish blabber, but just go with flow, nod and say yes.

Who knows, you'll know?

Thank you both for the replies. :D I have another song posted here, Ask Why, which is harder rock, if you are interested in hearing more of my work.

I was wondering, what do these songs do for you? The music, vocals, etc?

The simple truth is that authors like making people squirm. If this weren't the case, all novels would be filled completely with cute bunnies having birthday parties.
