Um... Happy Birthday? *laughs*

1. My lovely grand piano
2. My flute
3. Being able to play almost anything on them if I practice enough. :)

I'm really happy... I'm really improving on Fur Elise, although there's still one section that needs a bit of work. And I can easily get out a low C (finally!) on my flute without working down to it... Now I just need to figure out the correct embouchure that will allow me to play both low C and high C... *grins* Silver Lake, here I come.

Ungh. Well, that neighbor definitely isn't gonna make the list.

1. True, true friends who stick with me no matter what.
2. Finally getting over my "weakness"
3. ..I can't think. I feel too drunk. Heck, let's put the three hours of sleep I got on here lol. Or the crazy dream I had where we were all playing a card game...

1. Second to last lesson of Maths
2. The 2 minute silence for the London Bombings. I felt really at peace with it being so absolutely quiet and felt I could properly think over and think and hope for the families and people affected by it.
3. The Cribs

1. pizza & coke
2. "sleeping in"
3. seeing my family (i'm visiting them in india at the moment)

Crysi, how long have you been playing the flute? It took me a while to figure out how to get low C out too, it's the most annoying note I think there is (except really high C, I hate having to stretch my pinky out on the B foot to get it out!). Also, what brand do you have? Mine's a Pearl and I love it more every day.

3. MSN Meseenger...I had a lot of good conversations today. Many of them made me do something, and had some good talks with people.

1. Conversations with someone.
2. Music.
3. The fact that my dad isn't making me go with him to pick up my flute (it was being fixed).

Kylie, I've been playing flute for six years now. I just got a new flute.. It's a Powell Sonare SF6000. It responds so easily, and the tone is absolutely amazing! I'm so in love with it lol. I can't wait to try out my old flute now that it's been fixed, though. It's a Gemeinhardt 2SP. I'm hoping I can get better response out of it now, because I'll be taking that one to camp. Don't want my precious new baby getting dirty. *laughs* Yes, I'm obsessed.

ἓν οἶδα ὅτι οὐδὲν οἶδα

For a short space of time I remained at the window watching the pallid lightnings that played above Mont Blanc and listening to the rushing of the Arve, which pursued its noise way beneath. The same lulling sounds acted as a lullaby to my too keen sensations; when I placed my head upon my pillow, sleep crept over me; I felt it as it came and blessed the giver of oblivion.
— Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
