"I was born ready." I smiled, I felt the shift start to take place. Pain ripped through my torso, my fingers felt like they were getting broken. A large pain whipped through my jaw bones cracked. My eyes were changing, my stomach felt like it was being clawed out like jelly. When I opened my eyes I looked at the ground and turned my neck so I could see Alex and his dad. I smiled, well mentally. Then I took off running, it felt good to run fater than dragons.

"No fair!" Alex said into my mind.

Still even as a cat I stuck my tongue out. "Get over it sweetie." I said.

"No head starts for you!" He shouted back.

"Catch up to me.... oh wait I forgot, you CAN'T." I baited him.

"Is that a dare?" even mentally he could rised both of his eyebrows.

"It's a fact." I laughed.

Alex:

I growled and shifted into a dragon, flying fast. I then dropped to the ground ahead of her and shifted into a werecat. as she came around a bin, I pounced her, pinning her down and chuckling.

"No fair! You cheeted. No flying allowed!"

"All's fair in love and war." I grinned and licked her. "I love you." I whispered softly.

Robyn

We were both laughing we were laying in a large pill of dead leaves. "I love you more." I said, laughing because his tongue tickled.

He shook his head, I nodded. I groaned.

"What?" He laughed, his face really close to mine.

"You really need to lay off the pies momma's boy." I patted his stomach.

His jaw almost dropped to the floor.

Alex:

I growled playfully. "I'm not a mama's boy. and...I'm not fat...for a guy." I smiled and hopped off of her. I like being oranges and reds. My werecat coat was gorgeous and I shook once. Then I started to run fast as I caught the scent of some small prey. "Try o keep up, gorgeous!" I taunted with a laugh.

Robyn

I shook with laughter, he wanted me to try to keep up? I laughed again. I ran infront of him, heared him growled with being my compition. I knew what he saw, he was getting bloodlust. Every were-cat did I know I did and I hated it, your teeth just want to tear into something but if the prey is human we could very well be shot dead. I saw Alex dart, it looked like he was heading for one of the maids, she looked like she was just leaving. Alex stayed on the ground for one moment about to pounce, the bloodlust had taken over, BAD SIGN!! I did what insticted came to me, I pounced on him from behind rolling him.

"What are you doing?!?!?!" I yelled into his mind.

He growled. "Must.... have..... BLOOD." He used force to try to knock me off.

"Stop it!" I said rolling him over and over. He started trying to get away.

"Alex stop it! your just getting bloodlust stop!!! You'll snap out of it."

He growled and bit into my shoulder.

I whimpered, feeling his teeth carve into my flesh was nothing like clawing it was a feeling you'd get when you'd just been shot.

I head-butted him. "Ouch! Stop!" I said once again.

Alex:

I was completely wild. I shifted. I had to calm down. I was a human under her. I looked at her shoulder and groaned. "Robyn...I'm so sorry. I didn't mean..." I felt sick. This was horrible. How did I let this happen?! I was just hunting a rabit...then that stupid maid came out...and...

I shook my head. "I'm so sorry!"

Robyn

I rolled off of him, being a were-cat I could accidently crush his ribs. I rolled around in the dried up leaves. I whimpered and licked the wound the best I could. I tried to shift, it hurt like hell as it repared the damage to my shoulder blade.

"I'm so sorry I-I dunno what came over me. Are you alright?" He asked franticly worried.

He gave me a hand up. "I'm fine." I said.

"No your not!" He said.

"It's fine, you just got bloodust. My shoulder is fine, it healed when I shifted. Honestly I'm fine." Just then his father caem running up in human form.

"What's the matter? I thought I heard a scream."

"Everything is fine." I smiled.

Alex:

I groaned.

My dad smiled and shifted into a dragon. Beautiful greens shimmered from his body. "Okay kids. have fun. Izll be in the sky if you want to join me. See you in an hour or so."

He left.

"Robyn, It's not okay! I shouldn't have done that..." I shook my head. I felt terrible. I was sick to my stomach. I had hurt her...badly.

Robyn

"If you would have killed me, THEN I would have been pissed. But... you didn't hurt me.... that badly." I said.

He groaned. "It's not a joke!" He said.

"I know honey and I'm sorry that your so upset, but it doesn't hurt anymore just.... try to be a bit more carefull." I said framing his face to reach on my tip toes to kiss him.

Alex:

I sighed and let her kiss me. I made up my mind though...No shifting into a werecat when she was pregnant. I'd never forgive myself if anything happened to her. I pulled her tightly to me. I kissed hr passionately. "Want to try it dragon style?" I asked, a bit of teasing in my voice.

Robyn

"Naw, you go ahead I'm going to shift back and lay in the grass." I smiled.

"You sure?"

I closed my eyes and smiled, nodding. "Go ahead."

"Ok." He kissed my forehead, then he started shifting as did I. I went to go lay onto the grass as I saw him take off into the sky. I stretched out my paws. I closed my eyes, not willingly, I was having a vision oh shit! I collapsed into the dream. I saw them again..... us.... again?

"Hey... did we just do this?" the future Alex said.

"Why am I back here?" I asked.

"Oh this is the time I come back from that hunting thing and then... well I find out about Carmen."

"Who's Carmen?"

"That's exactly what I said!" She said squealing.

The future Alex rolled his eyes. "Carmen, Jynx's sister. Carmen is not like Jynx, except the evil part. Carmen is after the baby."

"What?!" My eyes went wide.

Alex:

My dad and I spent hours hunting. we would occasionally square off and fight. It was so amazing! We shifted back to humans and I saw Robyn sitting there with wide eyes.

I ran to her. "Robyn! Robyn! what's wrong?" I asked. "Darling, talk to m! You okay?"

Robyn

"But... she. Oh my God." I said outloud, I felt Alex's hands around my shoulders. "This can't be happening."

"What can't be happening? What wrong?" Alex said a little freaked. "I should have never left you alone."

Alone, the word echoed in my head. I wasn't alone Alex was right next to me, I realized that but what would happen if I told him? Would he freak out? Would he let it go? Would he become protective?

"Carmen..." I said.

"Carmen? Carmen? Who's Carmen."

"Why does she want our baby?" I asked, no one in particular.

Alex:

I looked at her worridly. "Answer me! Robyn! Who's Carmen?! what about our baby?! Please speak to me! I've been an idiot. Robyn please! Are you okay?"

I looked at my dad desperately. I didnzt know what to do.

"Baby? Is she pregnant?"

"Not yet..." I flushed. "She will be...after our honeymoon. See...she can see into the future..."

"She's probably just in a trance then. It's alright. It won't last long. Just wait it out. It'll be okay. I promise."

I sighed and continued shaking Robyn's shoulders. "Please say something!"

Robyn

I opened my eyes to see myself in Alex's arms. I was listeing to eveyrthing Robyn and Alex had said..... the future us. It was so weird tlakin about yourself in the future I shivered.

"What happened?" I asked.

"You were in a trance.... who's Carmen?"

I looked at him with guilt. "You mihgt wanna sit down for this."

He sat down. "Ok."

"You see when we went there the reason you were carrying a sword is because we killed Jynx and her sister, Carmen came after us, then she found out I was pregnant and she wanted the baby for herself, she came be killed though... only..... banished."

"Why does she want the baby?"

"Because she wants to drain the baby's powers and use them for herself. The sword... we have to find it. If we don't, she'll be able to take the baby." I said I was so shooken up it scared me, no crazy ass witch was going to get my baby let alone drain it's powers for herself.
